Itinerary

  • Day 1: MADRID – LUXOR

    Check in at Madrid airport three hours before your charter flight's departure. Check in with your e-tickets at the airline counters and depart on your charter flight to Luxor. Arrival, visa and customs formalities, and transfer to the motor vessel moored on the banks of the Nile. Dinner and overnight on board.

  • Day 2: LUXOR – ESNA – EDFU

    Full board on board. At the scheduled time, you'll begin your visit to the East Bank of Luxor, with Karnak Temple, which dominates the entire area of Thebes, born from the splendor of the New Kingdom pharaohs, and Luxor Temple, the work of two great pharaohs, Ramses II and Ramses III. Continue your visit to the West Bank with the Necropolis of Thebes, including the Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of the most important pharaohs of the New Kingdom are hidden, the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the gigantic and magnificent Colossi of Memnon. Return to the cruise to begin sailing to Edfu. Overnight on board.

  • Day 3: EDFU – KOM OMBO – ASWAN

    Full board on board. Disembark in the morning to visit the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon god Horus, one of the best preserved in Egypt. Return to the ship and continue sailing to Kom Ombo. Arrival and visit the temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. After the visit, we will sail to Aswan. Overnight on board.
  • Day 4: ASWAN

    Full board on board. Departure to visit the Temple of Philae and take a felucca ride (traditional fishing boats) along the Nile, admiring several volcanic islands of black granite. Overnight on board.

  • Day 5: ASWAN – CAIRO

    Breakfast. Disembarkation at 8:00 a.m. and free time until your transfer to the airport for your chartered flight to Cairo. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight.

  • Day 6: CAIRO

    Breakfast and departure for a visit to the Giza complex, where you will enjoy panoramic views of the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Menkaure, and the Sphinx. Free afternoon. Overnight.

  • Day 7: CAIRO

    Breakfast. Day off. Accommodation.

  • Day 8: Cairo – Madrid

    Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and departure on your charter flight back to Madrid. Arrival, end of trip and our services.

Cancelation conditions

- FLIGHTS 100% PENALTY FROM THE TIME OF CONFIRMATION. DATE CHANGE NOT ALLOWED.

- GROUND SERVICES: CANCELLATION FEES BETWEEN 45 AND 31 DAYS before the departure date 50% of the total amount of the trip.

- GROUND SERVICES: CANCELLATION FEES 30 days before the departure date 100%

- PENALTY FOR NAME CHANGE BEFORE DEPARTURE: €120 / place (after issuance, name changes are not allowed)


IMPORTANT

-Prices do not include a possible increase in the air fuel tax; if this occurs, it will be reflected in the final price of the trip.

-The order of visits may vary, but the content of the trip will always be maintained.

-Regarding accommodations, please note that the categories in Egypt do not correspond to those in Europe; standards in Egypt are lower. The categories of the hotels offered in this program are the official ones in Egypt, which does not mean that they correspond to the official categories in Europe. As for the motor vessels, these do not have an official category.

-Possible changes in accommodations: If it is not possible to confirm the planned hotels or boats for this departure, the client will be offered an alternative within the same contracted category.

-Luggage: In the event of loss of luggage by the airlines, it will be the passenger's responsibility to manage the claim and call the company directly to process the delivery or compensation that may apply. Luxotour will not be responsible for any processing due to lost or broken luggage.

-People with reduced mobility: Many places in Egypt, hotels, cruises and transport are not adapted for wheelchairs, please check and notify us before booking. Any additional assistance costs required throughout the tour will be borne by the client.

-Special foods: Cases of food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc.) must be communicated before arrival in Egypt, although it is not possible to guarantee any type of special diet or menu.

-Consumer withdrawal: The program is sold as a closed package, so there will be no refund or discount for services that clients decide not to enjoy or in which they cannot participate due to personal, medical, flight schedules or other events.

-Behavior during the trip: In the event that the attitude of a passenger jeopardizes the operation of the tour and / or causes inconvenience to the rest of the group or in the accommodations, the latter will be forced to leave the circuit without any type of discount or refund for the services that cannot be enjoyed.

- Credit card: Hotels and ships generally require passengers to provide a credit card or cash deposit as a guarantee in order to provide telephone calls, extras in bars and restaurants, minibars, laundry services, room service charges, etc.

-Personal documentation and entry requirements for Egypt: It is the customer's responsibility to inform themselves of the current regulations regarding entry and exit to the country they are traveling to, as well as to carry the personal documents required by the authorities. Luxotour assumes no responsibility in this regard. Please note that visa, transit, and entry regulations vary from country to country and may change at short notice.
