Itinerary

  • Day 1: CITY OF ORIGIN - JOHANNESBURG

    Departure on a regular flight to Johannesburg. Night on board.

  • Day 2: JOHANNESBURG - PRETORIA

    Arrival at Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Pretoria. Overnight stay.

  • Day 3: JOHANNESBURG – PILANESBERG NATIONAL PARK

    Breakfast and departure to the Pilanesberg National Park. Arrival at the lodge at lunchtime (included). In the afternoon, departure for a photo safari (in an open 4x4 vehicle) through the park in search of the big five.  Return to the lodge, dinner and accommodation.

  • Day 4: PILANESBERG NATIONAL PARK

    Departure for a photographic safari at dawn in an open 4x4 vehicle. Return to the lodge to have breakfast. Rest of the morning free to enjoy the lodge facilities. After lunch (included), departure again for a photographic safari through the park. Return to the lodge, dinner and accommodation.

    (Note: the lodge has a shuttle service with an English-speaking driver to Sun City in case you want to explore this destination that offers entertainment casinos, restaurants, golf course and other attractions. The cost of the transfer is approximately 110 ZAR per person per way, with direct payment at the lodge)

  • Day 5: PILANESBERG NATIONAL PARK – JOHANNESBURG – CAPE TOWN

    Sunrise photo safari departure by open 4x4 vehicle. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Transfer by road back to Johannesburg. Arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport and departure on a local flight to Cape Town (*). Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

    (*) If the client chooses to book a flight departing from Johannesburg's Lanserria Airport, transfers from Pinlanesberg will have an additional charge. The flight to Cape Town must depart from Johannesburg after 4:30 p.m. If a flight is booked with an earlier departure time than indicated, it is most likely that you will not be able to board in time.

  • Day 6: CAPE TOWN

    Breakfast. Free day at your entire disposal to explore the city on your own or hire an optional excursion. Accommodation.

    (For this day we suggest an optional full-day excursion on the Peninsula)


  • Day 7: CAPE TOWN

    Breakfast. Free day to continue enjoying the city or hire an optional excursion. Accommodation.

    (For this day we suggest an optional full-day excursion to visit the famous Bo Kaap neighborhood)

  • Day 8: CAPE TOWN - VICTORIA FALLS

    Breakfast and transfer to the airport. (The use of the room in the hotel in Cape Town, is only allowed until 10:00 hrs)

    Flight from Cape Town Airport to Victoria Falls Airport, Zimbabwe.

    Arrival at Victoria Falls airport (Zimbabwe) and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.

  • Day 9: VICTORIA FALLS

    Breakfast and departure for a guided tour of Victoria Falls. I'll go back to the hotel, then I have the rest of the day free. Accommodation.

    (For the afternoon, we suggest an optional boat ride to enjoy the sunset from the Zambezi River)

  • Day 10: VICTORIA FALLS

    Breakfast. Free time until the time of your transfer to the Victoria Falls airport.(The use of the room in the Victoria Falls hotel is only allowed until 10:00 hrs).

    Flight from Victoria Falls Airport, Zimbabwe to your hometown.

  • Day 11: HOMETOWN

    Arrival, end of the trip and of our services.

 Cancellations received between 40 and 35 days prior to the start date of the services will have a charge of 25% of the total cost of the services.

 Cancellations received within 30 days prior to the start of the services will have a 100% penalty.

Published prices for children are valid for children under 12 years old sharing a room with two adults. Once they are 12 years old, they pay as an adult.

announcement Important notes

-Guaranteed departures for groups of 2 or more, departing from Johannesburg on Wednesdays in the early morning.

-Breakfasts included in hotels are scheduled according to the policies of each hotel, generally between 6:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Guests arriving outside of these hours will not receive this service. Room service or breakfast bags are available at an additional cost.

-Early arrival at the hotel on the first day of travel does not guarantee that rooms will be available. Standard check-in times apply unless additional nights are purchased to guarantee immediate access to rooms. Rooms are generally available from 3:00 p.m. On the other hand, the use of the rooms on the day of departure from the hotel is only permitted until 10:00 a.m.

-Free time: During free time, clients do not have access to transportation or a local guide.

-Possible change of route: Our representative in South Africa has the full right to modify the program for the benefit of the client or due to force majeure without losing any of the scheduled visits.

-Possible changes in accommodations: If for any of the departures it is not possible to confirm the planned hotels or lodges, an alternative will be offered to the client within the same contracted category.

-Luggage: In the event of loss of luggage by the airlines, it will be the passenger's responsibility to manage the claim and call the company directly to process the delivery or compensation that may apply. Luxotour will not be responsible for any processing due to lost or broken luggage.

-People with reduced mobility: some places, hotels and transport are not adapted for wheelchairs, please check and notify us before making your reservation. Any additional assistance costs required throughout the tour will be borne by the client.

-Special foods: Cases of food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc.) must be communicated before arrival in South Africa, although it is not possible to guarantee any type of special diet or menu.

-Consumer withdrawal: The tour is sold as a closed package, so there will be no refund or discount for services that clients decide not to enjoy or in which they cannot participate due to personal, medical reasons, flight schedules or other events.

-Behavior during the trip: In the event that the attitude of a passenger jeopardizes the operation of the tour and / or causes inconvenience to the rest of the group, they will be forced to leave the tour without any type of discount or refund for the services they cannot enjoy.

-Personal documentation and entry requirements for South Africa and Zimbabwe: It is the customer's responsibility to inform themselves of the current regulations regarding entry and exit to the country they are traveling to, as well as to carry the personal documents required by the authorities. Luxotour assumes no responsibility in this regard. Please note that visa, transit, entry, vaccination, and health requirements vary from country to country and may change at short notice and without prior notice.
