A trip that incorporates the highlights and essentials of Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia. A perfect trip for those seeking a deeper understanding of these three countries in a relatively short time. These incredible countries will come alive as you meet the local people and immerse yourself in their culture. The first part of the trip takes us to the mystical Luang Prabang, the former royal capital of Laos, and to Pak Ou Cave, the Laotian people's tribute to Buddha. Afterward, the tour will take you to Vietnam's cultural capital, Hanoi, and the stunning Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the three days in Siem Reap (Cambodia), you will have the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful Temples of Angkor, a World Heritage Site.


Itinerary

  • Day 1: CITY OF ORIGIN - LUANG PRABANG

    Departure on a scheduled flight to Luang Prabang. Overnight on board.

  • Day 2: HANOI

    Arrival at Hanoi International Airport, where a Spanish-speaking assistant will be waiting for you. Transfer to the hotel. During this approximately one-hour journey, you will get a first impression of Hanoi and its amazing blend of hustle and bustle and serenity. Arrival at the hotel and free time until check-in time (rooms are generally not available before 3:00 PM). Overnight stay. Recommendation: For this free afternoon, we recommend booking a relaxing massage, taking a stroll and having a coffee at Hoan Kiem Lake, or going shopping in the Old Quarter.
  • Day 3: HANOI

    Breakfast at the hotel and departure to begin the tour of Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. It is also considered one of the few Asian cities with tree-lined avenues, French colonial architecture, tranquil lakes, and oriental temples. The tour includes a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, founded in 1070 in honor of Confucius and considered the symbol of Hanoi. We continue to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, visiting its exterior from Ba Dinh Square. We will then proceed to the One Pillar Pagoda, built in 1049 on a single stone pillar by Emperor Ly Thai Tong, who reigned from 1028 to 1054. The pagoda is designed in the shape of a lotus flower in honor of Buddha. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, we will have an experience with flowers and their traditional arranging techniques. Visit a traditional flower shop to see how bouquets are made, how this beautiful and traditional Vietnamese spiritual art is passed down and preserved from generation to generation. There, you will learn to recognize exotic flowers while enjoying preparing a spiritual floral offering. Afterward, we arrive at Hoan Kiem Lake, the heart of Hanoi, where we will take a stroll around its perimeter with a panoramic view of Ngoc Son Temple, located in the middle of the lake, along with the red Huc Bridge. Finally, we will take a scenic cycle tour through Hanoi's Old Quarter, also known as the 36 Streets, as it was once famous for the artisans who lived there and the workshops located within. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
  • Day 4: HANOI – HALONG BAY

    Breakfast and departure by road to Halong Bay, which in Vietnamese means “the dragon that descends from the sea”, and according to legend, it was a dragon who formed the islands in the bay. Embark on a wonderful cruise to visit the bay. Lunch on board. The navigation continues to discover thousands of islands and islets with abundant vegetation that emerge in the bay with their unusual shapes and different sizes. The emerald waters of this legendary natural treasure take us to explore sublime islands such as the Turtle Island, the Dog Island, the Man's Head Island, etc. Due to its unique beauty, geological peculiarity, biological wealth, cultural and historical significance, Halong Bay was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1994 and included in the list of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World since 2011. Beyond contemplating the magnificent landscape, we enjoy free time or some of the optional activities such as swimming, kayaking or participating in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration on the boat's terrace.   • Day 5: HALONG BAY – DA NANG – HOI AN

    At sunrise, for those interested, there will be a Tai Chi class on the sun terrace. The cruise continues through the bay of almost 2,000 limestone islands, to continue enjoying its unique landscapes. Take advantage of this moment to take the best photos of this natural wonder. Late breakfast (brunch) on board to recharge your batteries and begin the return to land. Disembark at the Halong pier and transfer to Hanoi airport to take a local flight to Da Nang. Arrival and transfer to your hotel in Hoi An. At dusk, transfer to the pier to board a boat and cruise along the Hoai River. This river has a very special meaning for the inhabitants of Hoi An. When night falls, the streets are illuminated with lanterns and coloured lights, and lanterns are even thrown into the river to ask for good omens. The city looks bright and mysterious at night. Once the cruise is over, disembark and the rest of the night is free to explore the area. Transfer to the hotel at the client's expense. Accommodation.

  • Day 6: HOI AN

    Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a panoramic tour of Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries, whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle have changed little in recent years. Arrival in the Old Town, from where we will begin our walking tour through the old town center to visit Phung Hung (Old Merchant House), the over 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Hall, the old Tan Ky House with its traditional architecture, and the Sa Huynh History Museum. Lunch at a local restaurant. Free afternoon to enjoy the beach, stroll through the colorful central market, or do some shopping. Overnight stay.

    Recommendations: For this free afternoon, we suggest enjoying the beach, visiting My Son or Tra Que Village, visiting the Hand Bridge, or having a coffee in the Old Town.

  • Day 7: HOI AN – DA NANG – HUE

    After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Da Nang, where you can admire its idyllic beaches. We will also visit the Linh Ung Pagoda with its stunning panoramic views of the city and the enchanting coastline of the Son Tra Peninsula. Continue by road to Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam, via the Hai Van Pass ("Ocean of Clouds" in Vietnamese) and the picturesque Lang Co Beach. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and transfer to the hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, visit the Thien Mu Pagoda (Heavenly Lady), the symbol of Hue, built in 1601 between a river and a pine forest on the banks of the famous Perfume River. Before returning to the hotel, explore the vibrant Dong Ba Market, an important site for the people of Hue and a place to experience Vietnamese life. Accommodation.

  • Day 8: HUE – HO CHI MINH

    Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a panoramic tour of the imperial city of Hue, the former capital of the country for over 140 years. We will discover its rich historical past and glorious monumental jewels scattered within its walls. Visit the Imperial Citadel, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993, which houses the mythical "Forbidden Purple City." The city was protected by a massive wall and a moat stretching 10 km, with walls 2 meters thick, and was the seat of power for the Nguyen Dynasty between 1802 and 1945. Afterward, we visit the tomb of Emperor Minh Mang, also known as the "Temple of Supreme Grace." Lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to the most spectacular tomb in Hue, the tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh. We tour the Stele Pavilion, the tomb hall, and the bronze statue of the emperor with its overwhelming and dazzling decoration. Afterward, transfer to the airport and departure on a local flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.   • Day 9: HO CHI MINH – CU CHI TUNNELS – HO CHI MINH

    Breakfast at the hotel and departure for an excursion to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an impressive network of underground tunnels stretching over 200 kilometers, which served as the base of operations for the Viet Cong guerrillas during the Vietnam War. Afterwards, we return to Ho Chi Minh City for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, a panoramic tour of Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, where we will first see the exterior of the historic Reunification Palace and the old Central Post Office with its impressive architecture. We will then stroll along Nguyen Hue pedestrian street, where the municipal buildings, the Ho Chi Minh statue, and the City Hall are located. After the tour, you will have free time to try an authentic Vietnamese coffee, enjoy the sunset, immerse yourself in the city's hustle and bustle and its friendly people, visit the Takashima Shopping Center, stroll through Saigon Square and Ben Thanh Market, attend the A O Show at the Opera House, or enjoy a wonderful dinner cruise on the Saigon River.   • Day 10: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA – SIEM REAP

    After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for the Mekong Delta, one of Vietnam's most famous destinations, where local life has flowed since ancient times. This spectacular delta is located about two hours by road from the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival in My Tho/Ben Tre, we board a boat that will take us for approximately an hour and a half through narrow canals, surrounded by dense vegetation, to the heart of the Delta with its market and floating houses, its excellent cuisine, and its lush tropical landscapes. You will discover a completely different world, where life revolves around the Mekong River. Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to sample many local products, such as exotic fruits grown in the Delta's orchards and coconut candies made in family-run factories. Upon reaching the riverbank, we will take a ride through the village in a traditional horse-drawn cart (Xe Loi) to get a closer look at the area's features. Next, we'll take a rowboat through the narrow canals framed by coconut palms and tropical vegetation. Lunch at a local restaurant and return to Ho Chi Minh City by road. Transfer to the airport. Arrival at Siem Reap International Airport (Cambodia) and meet your guide. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.
  • Day 11: SIEM REAP - ANGKOR THOM - SIEM REAP

    Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by tuk-tuk (a type of motorized tricycle, a very typical vehicle in Cambodia) to the South Gate, from where you can admire its impressive statues representing the movement of the ocean, the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century), the Bayon temple with its 54 decorated towers and nearly 200 enigmatic smiling faces of Avalokiteshvara, the Phimeanakas temple, the terraces of the Leper King and the Elephants, and the royal chambers. Next, visit Ta Prohm temple, one of the most spectacular in the area, which has remained almost unchanged since its discovery and still retains much of its mystery. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, transfer by bus to visit the most famous of all the temples, Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The complex of this temple covers 81 hectares, comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. The iconic five towers are featured on the Cambodian flag. They represent the five peaks of Mount Meru, the surrounding walls are the mountains and valley, and the ocean is the backdrop. We admired this 12th-century masterpiece, considered by historians to be the first example of classical Khmer architecture and art, while enjoying its beautiful sunset—a perfect way to end the day. Return to the hotel and overnight stay. Recommendations: During your free time, we suggest enjoying an Apsara dance performance, participating in a Khmer cooking class, booking a traditional massage, or attending a blessing ceremony with Buddhist monks.
  • Day 12: SIEM REAP

    After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for a nearby village where we board a boat to begin our excursion on Tonle Sap Lake (“Freshwater Lake” in Khmer), the largest lake in Southeast Asia. It is estimated that there are around 200 floating villages in the area, making it central to the lives of Cambodians. We explore the lives of the lake's inhabitants, visiting the hospital, church, school, and market. On the way back to Siem Reap, we will visit the artisans of D’Angkor, an exemplary center that aims to protect and maintain traditional crafts, as well as train young Cambodians. Here you can find the most authentic handmade Cambodian products and see artisans working in various disciplines, including wood carving, pottery, and copper work. Lunch at a local restaurant and transfer to the airport. Important Note: To participate in this excursion, the client must book a flight departing from Siem Reap after 5:00 PM.Otherwise, the activities planned for this day will not be possible.

-The deadline for booking requests for this tour or extra services will be 15 days prior to arrival in Vietnam for guaranteed departures and 30 days prior for non-guaranteed departures (private services). -Night Transfers (hotel/airport/hotel): Transfers for international flights arriving or departing between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM will incur a surcharge.

-Triple cabins: Triple cabins are not available on Halong Bay cruises. Clients who have opted for a triple cabin will have one double cabin and one single cabin during the cruise. And in hotels, triple rooms generally only have two beds. Breakfast included in hotels has assigned times according to each hotel's policies, usually between 6:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Outside of the hours established by each hotel, the guest will forfeit this service. Room service or breakfast bags have an additional cost. Early arrival at the hotel on the first day of travel does not guarantee room availability. -Consumer Withdrawal: The tour is sold as a fixed package, therefore there will be no refund or discount for services that clients decide not to use or in which they cannot participate due to personal or medical reasons, flight schedules, or other events.

-Conduct During the Trip: If a passenger's behavior jeopardizes the operation of the tour and/or causes discomfort to the rest of the group, they will be obliged to leave the tour without any discount or refund for the services they cannot use.

-Credit Card: Generally, Hotels require a credit card or cash deposit from the passenger as a guarantee to facilitate services such as telephone calls, extras in bars and restaurants, minibar, laundry, room service charges, etc.
