Itinerary

  • Day 1: MEDAN - BUKIT LAWANG

    Arrival at Kuala Namu International Airport in Medan and direct transfer to Bukit Lawang via Binjai and Kuala. We will drive through several rubber and palm oil plantations. Upon arrival in Bukit Lawang, check-in at the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.
  • Day 2: BUKIT LAWANG - BRASTAGI

    After breakfast, we'll walk along the riverbanks and begin our ascent into the jungle to see the orangutans at feeding time. Later, we'll hike deeper into the jungle, where we'll have the opportunity to see various types of rainforest plants and animals. This hike will take approximately 3 hours. We'll then return to the hotel. After a short rest, we'll depart for Brastagi via Sembahe and Sibolangit. In Brastagi, we'll visit Lumbini Park with its replica of the Shwedagon Pagoda. We'll stop at the fruit market before arriving at the hotel in the afternoon. Overnight stay.
  • Day 3: BRASTAGI - SAMOSIR

    After breakfast, departure for Parapat. En route, we will visit the traditional Batak Karo village of Dokan, the Sipiso-piso waterfall, Rumah Bolon (Long House), and the former palace of the Batak kings Simalungun and Simarjarunjung, enjoying the scenery of Lake Toba. Then, we will travel to Samosir Island by public ferry. Upon arrival, transfer directly to the hotel without a guide. Check-in at the hotel and free afternoon. Overnight stay.

  • Day 4: SAMOSIR

    Breakfast. Today we will take an excursion to explore the beauty and cultural aspects of Batak, visiting the villages of Ambarita and Simanindo to see the stone chairs, tables, and courtyard of the Siallagan clan. Afterward, we will continue to the village of Tomok to see the ancient tomb of King Sidabutar. Return to the hotel and free afternoon. Overnight stay.

  • Day 5: SAMOSIR - MEDAN

    Breakfast and departure by public ferry to Parapat, from where we will continue by road to Medan (approximately 6 hours) via the plantation route and the historic town of Pematang Siantar. Arrival in Medan in the afternoon. Overnight stay.

  • Day 6: MEDAN - YOGYAKARTA

    Breakfast and free time until your transfer to the airport.

    Arrival at Yogyakarta International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

  • Day 7: YOGYAKARTA

    Early breakfast and at 8:00 AM departure for the magnificent 9th-century Hindu temple of Prambanan. The largest and tallest temple in this complex, known as "Parrot Jonggrang," covered with reliefs from the Ramayana, is considered the most elegant and beautiful temple in Java. It has eight shrines, the three main ones being dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in town. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Borobudur. Buried under volcanic ash and tropical growth, it was rediscovered in 1815. It has recently been completely restored through an international effort under the auspices of UNESCO. This temple is essentially a gray andesite stone structure with 10 terraces, each smaller than the one below, rising to the great stupa at the top, standing about 40 meters above the ground. A visit to the Pawon Temple will also be included. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

    Note: Access to the Borobudur stupa is not included; the climb has an additional cost.

  • Day 8: YOGYAKARTA

    Early breakfast and at 8:00 AM departure for Gust Joyo Royal Palace, known as the “Little Kraton.” Continue to the Taman Sari Gardens with free time to explore the tropical gardens, fountains, and water features. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit traditional Javanese crafts, including goldsmiths and batik specialists. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

  • Day 9: YOGYAKARTA

    Breakfast and free time until your transfer to the airport.

  • Day 10: SOUTHERN BALI BEACHES - LOVINA

    At approximately 8:00 AM, we depart for Lovina, stopping en route to admire the famous Tanah Lot temple, with its spectacular view perched on a rock overlooking the sea. Tanah Lot was erected by the villagers in memory of the Brahmin Sait Nirartha, who is said to have spoken with God for an entire night right where the temple now stands. The journey continues north through Alas Kedaton. We will visit the monkey forest. Then we arrive in Bedugul and visit the Pura Ulu Danu temple on Lake Beratan. The Ulun Danu temple is situated on the plateau at about 1,200 meters above sea level, with a cool atmosphere and verdant hills as a backdrop. The temple, spectacularly located on the lake, is dedicated to the goddess of water. Our final stop will be Gitgit Waterfall. The sound of the water can be heard from 200 meters away, and after a few more steps, you can see a large volume of water cascading from a height of 45 meters. Once in Lovina, check in to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay.

  • Day 11: LOVINA - CANDIDASA

    Early breakfast and departure at 8:00 AM for Candidasa, with a brief stop at the traditional Buleleng Market. Next, we will visit Pura Beji Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Dewi Sri, who protects the rice fields. Afterward, we will arrive at the village of Kintamani with views of Mount Batur and Lake Batur. Lunch at a local restaurant with panoramic views. Later, we will visit Besakih, the largest and most important temple in Bali. The temple was built in the 11th century at an altitude of 1,000 meters on the slopes of Mount Agung, Bali's sacred volcano. Finally, we will arrive in Candidasa. Check-in at the hotel and the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay.

  • Day 12: CANDIDASA - UBUD

    Early breakfast and departure at 8:00 AM for Ubud. The first stop will be at Goa Lawah, a temple built in a cave inhabited by hordes of bats. Next, we proceed to Sidemen, a charming valley offering magnificent scenery of terraced hills. Lunch at a local restaurant with panoramic views of the valley. The journey continues to Klung Kung to visit Kerthagosa Palace, a beautiful example of traditional Balinese architecture, formerly used as a court of justice. We will admire the ancient frescoes depicting a variety of old methods of punishment. The final visit is to Gunung Kawi, an 11th-century temple and funerary complex with 10 candi (shrines) carved into the rock within niches protected by a 7-meter-high cliff face. Arrival in Ubud, check-in at the hotel, and overnight stay.

  • Day 13: UBUD - DENPASAR - MATARAM - SENGGIGI

    Breakfast and free time until your transfer to Denpasar airport.

    Arrival at Lombok Airport (*) and transfer to a local restaurant in Mataram for lunch. Afterward, we continue to the Mayura Water Palace (1744), where we can see the extraordinary floating hall, the royal house, and the sacred temples. Across the main road, we can see the three tallest trees of Meru Temple (1720), representing Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, the three gods of the Hindu Trinity. From there, we continue to Lingsar Temple (1714), which houses a small pond supposedly inhabited by a sacred tuna. According to locals, if you are able to see this fish, you will be lucky. The final visit is to the Narmada Water Palace (1722), built during the ancient Balinese kingdom as a stately garden and place of worship. Its spring-fed lake was created as a replica of Lake Segara Anak on Mount Rinjani and is believed to grant eternal youth to believers. After the tour, transfer to Senggigi, check-in at the hotel and overnight stay.(*) The flight must arrive in Lombok no later than 11:00 am.

  • Day 14: SENGGIGI - TETE BATU - SEMBALUN

    Breakfast. At 9:00 AM, departure for the hills surrounding Tete Batu, the rice terraces at the foot of the gigantic Mount Rinjani. Upon arrival, we will take a stroll through the rustic villages of Tete Batu and Loyok. From here, the hike begins with the opportunity to see the black monkeys that inhabit this area and admire the local vegetation, including mahogany trees and clove and vanilla plantations. We will also see the magnificent rice terraces. Lunch at a local restaurant. The journey continues to Sembalun. Along the way, we will cross rice paddies and terraces, villages, forests, and hills. The Sembalun Valley is surrounded by the massif of Mount Rinjani. We will head towards Pusuk Pass, a high viewpoint where we can admire the village of Sembalun from above. Finally, arrival at the hotel and overnight stay.

  • Day 15: SEMBALUN - LAWANG - BAMBUNG - SENARU

    Breakfast. At 9:00 AM, departure for the Sasak villages of Lawang and Bambung. The Sasak are related to the Balinese in language and ancestry, although they are predominantly Muslim. We will visit the abandoned village of Beleq and hike to Selong Hill for a unique panoramic view of the plantations. The route continues to the village of Senaru, where we will see two of Lombok's most beautiful waterfalls: Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep. Lunch at a local restaurant. Before heading to the hotel, we will stop at a traditional village, where some hill tribes have lived for centuries. Overnight stay.

  • Day 16: SENARU

    Breakfast and transfer to Lombok airport.

Observations

Airport/hotel/airport transfers for flights arriving and/or departing between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM will incur an extra charge. Please inquire about the specific supplement. The maximum waiting time at airports for the driver is one hour from the scheduled arrival time of the flight. Baggage allowance for transfers and ground transportation in Indonesia: only one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage per person are permitted.
