Itinerary

  • Day 1: LUXOR

    Flight from your hometown to Luxor Airport. *

    Arrival at Luxor airport, visa formalities and transfer to the river boat. Dinner and overnight on board.

    * The client may choose to take the flight included in the package or buy and book it on their own.

  • Day 2: LUXOR / ESNA / EDFU

    Full board on board. Today we will cross the Nile to visit the Necropolis of Thebes: Valley of the Kings, funerary temple of Ramses III and the Colossi of Memnon. Visit to the Temples of Karnak and Luxor. At the scheduled time, departure to Esna. We cross the Esna lock and continue sailing towards Edfu. Night on board.

  • Day 3: EDFU / KOM OMBO / ASWAN

    Full board on board. Visit to the Temple of Edfu dedicated to the God Horus. Navigation to Kom Ombo. Visit the De Kom Ombo temple dedicated to the crocodile-headed gods Sobek and falcon-headed Haroeris. Navigation to Aswan. Night on board.

  • Day 4: ASWAN

    Full board on board. Before dawn, departure on a road excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel by road. After the visit, return to the motor ship. During this day they also include a visit to the Temple of Philae and a ride on feluccas (typical Egyptian sailboats) to admire from the Nile a panoramic view of the Agha Khan Mausoleum, Elephantine Island and the Botanical Garden. Night on board in Aswan.

  • Day 5: ASWAN / CAIRO

    Breakfast. Free time until the time of your transfer to the airport to leave on a local flight (*) to Cairo. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.

  • Day 6: CAIRO

    Breakfast. In the morning, panoramic visit to the Pyramids of Gizeh (Cheops, Kefren and Menkaure), the Sphinx of Gizeh, the Valley Temple of Kefren and a papyrus center. I'll go back to the hotel, then I have the rest of the day free. Accommodation.

  • Day 7: CAIRO

    Breakfast. Day off. Accommodation.

  • Day 8: CAIRO - HURGADA

    Breakfast and transfer to Cairo airport.

    Arrival at Hurghada airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Stay at the hotel on an All-Inclusive basis, beginning this day with lunch.

  • Day 9: HURGADA

    Stay at the hotel on an all-inclusive basis. Free day to enjoy the beaches and attractions of the Red Sea.

  • Day 10: HURGADA

    Stay at the hotel on an all-inclusive basis. Free day to enjoy the beaches and attractions of the Red Sea.

  • Day 11: HURGADA / AIRPORT

    Breakfast and transfer to the airport.

General conditions

What is included?

- Regular line flights in economy class (only when the client has chosen to take the flights included in the package).

- Inbound and outbound transfers.

- 3 nights in a hotel in Cairo, on a bed and breakfast basis.

- 4 nights on a cruise on the Nile, on a full board basis (without drinks).

- 3 hotel nights in Hurghada, on an all-inclusive basis.

- Spanish-speaking guide during visits (non-exclusive).

- Excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel by road.

- Panoramic visit to the Pyramids of Gizeh.

What is not included?

-Visa, which is processed directly at the airport of arrival in Egypt, having an approximate cost of €25 (subject to changes) and payment in cash.

-Travel assistance insurance .

-Tips required on the cruise.

-Tips to guides and drivers.

-Drinks at lunch and dinner on the cruise.

-Any other service not specified as included.

Cancelation conditions

-Management fees: €30 per reservation.

-Flights:

 Name change No permitted. Change of date allowed only before the issuance of air tickets.

 Once the tickets are issued, they are non-refundable.

-Land services:

 Cancellations between 29 and 16 days before the departure date will have a 50% penalty.

 Cancellations 15 days before the departure date will have a 100% penalty.

 No-shows on the day of departure without prior notice will have a 100% penalty.

 In the event that the client decide to reduce the program for personal reasons, unused services will not be reimbursed.


IMPORTANT

-The order of the visits may vary, but always maintaining the content of the trip.

-In relation to the accommodations, it must be taken into account that the categories in Egypt does not correspond to the categories in Europe, the standards in Egypt are lower. The categories of the hotels offered in this program are the official ones in Egypt, which does not mean that they correspond to the official categories in Europe. As for the motor ships, they do not have an official category.

-Possible changes in accommodations: if in any of the departures it is not possible to confirm the hotels or ships planned, An alternative will be offered to the client within the same contracted category.

-Baggage: In case of loss of luggage by the airlines, it will be the passenger's responsibility to manage the claim and call the company directly to process the delivery or compensation that may apply. Luxotour will not be responsible for any processing due to loss or breakage of suitcases.

-People with reduced mobility: many places in Egypt, hotels and transport are not adapted for wheelchairs , please consult and notify it before making the reservation. Any additional cost of assistance that they require throughout the tour will be borne by the client.

-Special foods: cases of food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc. .) must be communicated before arrival in Egypt, although it is not possible to guarantee any type of diet or special menu.

-Consumer withdrawal: the circuit is sold as a closed package , so there will be no refund or discount for the services that customers decide not to enjoy or in which they cannot participate due to personal or medical reasons, flight schedules or other events.

-Behavior during the trip: in the event that the attitude of a passenger endangers the operation of the tour and/or causes inconvenience to the rest of the group, they will be forced to leave the circuit without any type of discount or refund for services that you cannot enjoy.

-Credit card: generally, hotels and ships require a credit card or a cash deposit from the passenger as a guarantee to be able to facilitate the services of telephone calls, extras in bars and restaurants, minibar, laundry, room service charges, etc.

-Personal documentation and entry requirements in Egypt: it is It is the client's responsibility to find out about the current regulations regarding entry and exit from the country to which they are traveling, as well as to carry the personal documents required by the authorities. Luxotour does not assume any responsibility in this regard. Keep in mind that visa, transit and entry regulations vary from one country to another and, in turn, can be modified at short notice and without prior notice.
