Itinerary

  • Day 1: ISTANBUL

    Flight from your hometown to Istanbul International Airport.

    Arrival at Istanbul International Airport (IST), assistance after baggage claim and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

  • Day 2: ISTANBUL

    Breakfast at the hotel. Departure in the morning to visit the Rustum Pasha Mosque. Next, we will do one of the most famous activities in Istanbul, a boat trip on the Bosphorus, a channel that separates Europe and Asia. During this journey you will be able to enjoy the history of the city in a different way. The excursion ends with one of the star visits, the Spice Bazaar, built by the Ottomans five centuries ago and used ever since. Free time in the bazaar where the visit ends.   • Day 4: ISTANBUL – ANKARA – CAPPADOCIA (*)

    Before dawn, departure for Ankara, passing through the Bolu Mountains. Stop en route for breakfast, which will have been prepared and delivered to you at the hotel upon check-out. In Ankara, we will visit the Atatürk Mausoleum, inaugurated in 1953 and dedicated to the founder of modern Turkey, Atatürk. The mausoleum is a marble block with 40-ton columns, reached via a long avenue lined with lions, ending in a vast plaza. Lunch at a local restaurant, followed by departure for Cappadocia. En route, we will also visit the salt lake (Tuz Golu). Arrival, dinner, and overnight stay.

  • Day 5: CAPPADOCIA

    Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to this fascinating region with its unique landscape, formed by lava ejected from the Erciyes and Hasan volcanoes three million years ago. Visit to the Göreme Open Air Museum, an incredible Byzantine monastic complex comprised of churches carved into the rock and adorned with beautiful frescoes. Visit to the Avcilar and Güvercinlik valleys, which boast a spectacular landscape of the so-called Fairy Chimneys. Lunch at a local restaurant. We will continue our tour of the Cappadocian valleys.   • Day 6: CAPADOCIA – PAMUKKALE

    Breakfast and departure for Pamukkale, crossing the Konya Plain. En route, a stop will be made to visit a caravanserai, an ancient type of building that arose along major roads where caravans of merchants, pilgrims, or soldiers would rest on their long journeys. Lunch en route at a local restaurant. Before arriving at the hotel in Pamukkale, a stop will be made to visit the ruins of Hierapolis (*), an ancient Hellenistic city built in a stunningly beautiful natural setting. Here, the high concentration of calcium in the water has created one of the most spectacular formations in the world: gigantic white waterfalls, stalactites, and natural pools formed over centuries by the flow of water rich in calcium salts from thermal springs.   • Day 7: PAMUKKALE – EPHESUS – IZMIR

    Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Selcuk, the center of Ephesus, the best-preserved ancient city in Asia Minor. During the 1st and 2nd centuries, it had a population of 250,000 and monopolized the wealth of the Middle East. Lunch at a local restaurant.
