In the afternoon, visit to Nefta, known as “the pearl of the country of palm trees”, ancient Roman Nepte characterized by its fountains that spring from rock walls and that give rise to an oasis with more than 400 palm trees called “corbeille” (basket ). Its importance lies in the fact that, having been an important Roman city, it later became the Byzantine capital, thereby recovering its ancient splendor. Lunch and continuation to Carthage, the cradle of one of the most brilliant civilizations of antiquity. Ancient Punic and Roman capital where you can visit the Punic ports and the Antonine thermal baths (one of the most spectacular monuments preserved in Carthage and considered the third in the world after the thermal baths of Caracalla and Diocletian in Rome) .
