Upon arrival, you will be met at Penneshow to begin your island tour. Kangaroo Island is a paradise for nature lovers, boasting a thriving native wildlife, spectacular coastal views, and fertile farmland. The full-day excursion planned for today will be dedicated to exploring Seal Bay, the most beautiful spot on this incredible island. There, you can observe sea lions basking on the beach; your guide will take you right up close to them. The tour then continues to Duck Lagoon, where you can see many parrots, including the Crimson Rosella and Rainbow Lorikeet. Eucalyptus trees bloom along the shores of the freshwater lagoon formed by the Cygnet River, and koalas can be spotted there. After lunch, we will visit Emu Bay Beach, where you can watch dolphins swimming close to the shore. This beach is one of the most beautiful and safest swimming spots on the island, and in summer, when possible, we try to include a short stop for a swim before heading to Stokes Bay, where at night you can see many kangaroos and wallabies coming out to graze. Stokes Bay is also famous for its tunnel through the rocks leading to the beach in front. Near the bay, you might spot a couple more koalas. At the end of the tour, after seeing sea lions, kangaroos, koalas, wallabies (and if you're lucky, even an echidna) up close, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

On our way to the East End of the island, we'll see part of the North Coast and stop to visit Snelling Beach, one of the island's best beaches, and Western River, where we'll enjoy morning tea with coffee while admiring Kangaroo Island's rugged coastline. In this area, we'll often see koalas and sleepy kangaroos grazing. In the afternoon, we'll take a walk among the famous Remarkable Rocks (only 5 million years old). Not far from there, we can observe long-nosed furseals (also known as New Zealand furseals) playing in the rock pools below Admirals Arch. At the end of the tour, after seeing sea lions, kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, and if you're lucky, even an echidna, we'll return to Penneshow to catch the ferry back to Cape Jervis.
