Itinerary

  • Day 1: MONTREAL

    Arrival at Montreal International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.
  • Day 2: MONTREAL - QUEBEC - MONTREAL

    Breakfast at the hotel and departure for an excursion to the beautiful city of Quebec, the oldest in Canada. We will take a panoramic tour of the city, including Laval University, several historical monuments, the famous Citadel, and other points of interest. After lunch (not included), you will have free time to stroll and explore this charming city in depth. At the end of the tour, we will return to Montreal. Overnight stay.

  • Day 3: MONTREAL - OMEGA PARK - OTTAWA

    Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a comprehensive panoramic tour of Montreal, which will immerse us in history, from French and English colonization to the present day. We begin our panoramic tour in the English neighborhood of Westmount, St. Joseph's Oratory, and Mount Royal Park, where we will enjoy a spectacular view of the city. We will walk through the park to the Chalet de la Montre (Mountain Chalet) lookout, weather permitting; otherwise, we will visit the Belvedere lookout. Next, we continue to the Golden Square Mile, McGill University, the financial district, Canada Square, and the majestic Mary Queen of the World Catholic Cathedral. Afterward, we head to Old Montreal, passing through Queen Victoria Square and skirting the perimeter of the Old Port. Then, we will visit Place d'Armes to see Notre-Dame Basilica (entrance not included), and walk to City Hall, where Jacques Cartier Square, the tourist heart of Old Montreal, is located. Here you will have time for lunch (not included) before continuing our journey to Ottawa. En route, we will stop at Omega Park, where you can observe fascinating Canadian wildlife up close. After our visit to Omega Park, we continue to Ottawa. Check-in at the hotel and overnight stay.
  • Day 4: OTTAWA - THOUSAND ISLANDS - TORONTO

    Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a panoramic tour of Canada's capital, Ottawa. The tour will pass by Parliament Hill (during the summer months, you can witness the famous Changing of the Guard), residential neighborhoods, the Prime Minister's and Governor General's mansions, ambassadors' residences, the Supreme Court, and other points of interest. After lunch (not included), we will depart for Brockville to enjoy a short cruise through the Thousand Islands of the St. Lawrence River. This region is the birthplace of the popular Thousand Island dressing and is also one of Eastern Canada's most popular tourist destinations. The approximately one-hour cruise offers spectacular panoramic views of the area and provides information about its history, legends, and people. You can also observe ships from around the world carefully navigating the narrow sections of the St. Lawrence River, the world's longest freshwater waterway. After the cruise, we will continue our journey to Toronto. Arrival and overnight stay.

  • Day 5: TORONTO - NIAGARA FALLS

    Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a panoramic tour of Toronto, passing by City Hall, the Provincial Parliament, the University of Toronto, and Yorkville: the bohemian neighborhood, the residential area of Forest Hill, and the area where the famous CN Tower is located. We will then continue to Niagara Falls, approximately one hour away. En route, we will visit the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada's first capital. We will tour the Niagara wine country and begin our tour of the area, visiting the Floral Clock and the whirlpool over which the Spanish Aerial Car travels. We will also enjoy a ride on the Hornblower boat (May to October) or a visit to the Scenic Tunnels (October to May). Arrival at the hotel and overnight stay.

  • Day 6: NIAGARA FALLS - WASHINGTON

    After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Washington, D.C., beginning a fascinating journey that will take us through the states of New York and Pennsylvania, crossing the majestic Appalachian Mountains, a mountain range of great natural beauty. Along the way, we will enjoy the panoramic views offered by these iconic mountains. We will continue our journey south to reach the imposing capital of the United States, Washington, D.C., in the late afternoon. Upon arrival, we will check into our hotel to rest and prepare to explore this historic and emblematic city. Overnight stay.
  • Day 7: WASHINGTON

    Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a panoramic tour of approximately four hours, which will take us to Arlington Cemetery, where the graves of the Kennedy brothers are located; the Lincoln Memorial, IWO Jima; the Korean War Memorial and World War II, the White House (exterior only); Pennsylvania Avenue and the Capitol. Free afternoon to visit the Smithsonian Institution museums. Return to the hotel is at the client's expense. Accommodation.

    NOTE: If you are interested in visiting the Air and Space Museum, you must reserve a time slot for FREE online, and we recommend doing so before starting your trip.

  • Day 8: WASHINGTON - LANCASTER - PHILADELPHIA - NEW YORK

    Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we depart for New York. Traveling to Pennsylvania, we will pass through Lancaster and the Amish Center, where we will make a brief visit. We will also make a brief stop at Amish Village. We then continue to Philadelphia, the city where thirteen colonies declared their independence from England. Upon arrival, we will take a brief tour that includes Elfreth's Drive, the Old Victorian Quarter, Benjamin Franklin Boulevard, with a stop in front of the Museum of Art, and the Liberty Bell. We will arrive in New York in the afternoon. Overnight stay.

  • Day 9: NEW YORK

    Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, depart for a panoramic tour of the city, beginning in the direction of Upper Manhattan. Along Central Park, you'll pass by Lincoln Center, the Dakota Building, and Strawberry Fields. After a brief stop in Central Park to see the Imagine plaque honoring John Lennon, you'll continue toward Harlem. After this tour of the northern part of Harlem, the route takes you along Fifth Avenue, passing the most famous museums: the Metropolitan, the Frick, and the Guggenheim. You'll also pass St. Patrick's Cathedral and the famous Rockefeller Center. You'll make a brief stop in Madison Square for a view of the famous Flatiron Building and Empire State Building. You'll continue toward Lower Manhattan, passing through Greenwich Village, Ground Zero, the 9/11 Memorial, the Calatrava subway station, and Battery Park, with a view of the Statue of Liberty from afar. Before returning to downtown Manhattan, admission to the EDGE observation deck with free time is included, and return to the hotel is at your own expense. In the evening, we'll continue our visit to this great metropolis with another panoramic night tour, during which you can enjoy the illuminations of the city that never sleeps. Admission to the ferry across the bay is included. Overnight stay.

  • Day 10: NEW YORK

    Breakfast at the hotel and free time until your transfer to the airport.

Evening transfers arriving in Montreal and departing from New York will incur an additional charge per person, per trip. Please inquire for details. Evening transfers are defined as those outside the following hours:

  • City of origin - Montreal: arrivals until 9:30 PM
  • New York - City of origin: departures from 7:30 AM onwards

-Guaranteed departures from 2 passengers, according to the published departure schedule.

-Published prices for children are only valid for children under 12 years old sharing a room with two adults. From age 12, the adult rate applies.

-Free time: During free time, clients do not have access to transportation or a local guide.

-Possible route change: Our representative in the United States has the right to modify the program for the client's benefit or due to force majeure without canceling any of the scheduled visits.

-Possible changes to accommodations: If it is not possible to confirm the planned hotels for any of the departures, an alternative will be offered to the client within the same contracted category.

-Breakfasts included in the hotels have assigned times according to the policies of each hotel establishment, generally between 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Outside of the hours established by each hotel, the passenger will forfeit this service. Room service and breakfast baggage are available at an additional cost (payable directly at the hotel). Early arrival at the hotel on the first day of travel does not guarantee room availability. Standard check-in times apply unless additional nights are purchased to ensure immediate access to the rooms. Rooms are generally available from 3:00 PM. Triple and quadruple rooms generally only have two beds. Luggage: In case of lost luggage by the airline, it is the passenger's responsibility to manage the claim and contact the airline directly to arrange for delivery or any applicable compensation. Luxotour will not be responsible for any procedures related to lost or damaged luggage.

-People with reduced mobility: some places, hotels and transport are not wheelchair accessible, please check and notify us before making your reservation. Any additional expenses for assistance required throughout the tour will be the responsibility of the client.

-Special Diets: Cases of food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc.) must be communicated before arrival in the United States, although it is not possible to guarantee any type of special diet or menu.

-Consumer Withdrawal: The tour is sold as a fixed package, therefore there will be no refund or discount for services that clients decide not to use or in which they cannot participate due to personal or medical reasons, flight schedules, or other events.

-Conduct During the Trip: In the event that a passenger's attitude jeopardizes the operation of the tour and/or causes discomfort to the rest of the group, they will be obliged to leave the tour without any discount or refund for the services they cannot use.

-Credit Card: Therefore In general, hotels require a credit card or cash deposit from the passenger as a guarantee to facilitate services such as telephone calls, extras in bars and restaurants, minibar, laundry, room service charges, etc.

-Personal Documentation and Entry Requirements for Canada and the United States: It is the client's responsibility to inform themselves about the current entry and exit regulations of the country they are traveling to, as well as to carry the personal documents required by the authorities. Luxotour assumes no responsibility in this regard. Please note that visa, transit, and entry regulations vary from country to country and may be modified at short notice without prior notice.
