*Cancellations received between 22 and 9 days prior to the service start date will incur a penalty of 30% of the total service cost.

*Cancellations received between 8 and 3 days prior to the service start date will incur a penalty of 50% of the total service cost.

*Cancellations received from 2 days prior to the service start date will incur a penalty of 100%.

-Guaranteed departures from 2 passengers.

-The deadline for booking requests for this tour or extra services is 21 days prior to arrival in Japan. After this deadline, any changes or added services will incur an emergency handling fee. Requests for changes or new services cannot be guaranteed after the booking deadline.

-Customers who choose to enjoy an "ONSEN" (hot spring bath) should note that, for cultural reasons, access to the hot springs is not permitted for customers with tattoos.

-People with reduced mobility: Many places in Japan, hotels, and transportation are not wheelchair accessible. Please inquire and notify us before booking. Any additional assistance costs required during the tour will be the responsibility of the customer.

-Rooms: Double beds are not available. Since double beds are not common in Japan, most hotels do not offer this type of room. We can request it from hotels, but we cannot guarantee it. Single rooms may be smaller than double rooms. Triple rooms cannot be guaranteed until we receive confirmation from each hotel. These rooms are generally double rooms with 2 beds + 1 small folding bed.

-Possible changes to accommodations: If it is not possible to confirm the planned hotels for any of the departures, an alternative will be offered to the client within the same contracted category.

-Special diets: Cases of food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc.) must be communicated before arrival in Japan, although it is not possible to guarantee any type of special diet or menu.

-Arrival transfer in Kyoto: Transfers for flights arriving in Kyoto between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM will have a supplement.

-Sightseeing tours: For groups of 10 or more, tours are operated by taxi, private car, minibus, or coach, with a Spanish-speaking guide according to the itinerary, including entrance fees to the monuments specified in the itinerary. Tours with fewer than 10 people operate using public transportation. —Clients will spend some nights without their luggage, so please prepare hand luggage (up to 10kg) for those nights, as detailed in the itinerary. —Free time: During free time, clients will not have access to transportation or a local guide. —Possible route change: Our representative in Japan has the right to modify the program for the client's benefit or due to force majeure without canceling any of the scheduled visits. —Luggage: In case of lost luggage by the airlines, it is the passenger's responsibility to manage the claim and contact the airline directly to arrange for delivery or any applicable compensation. Luxotour will not be responsible for any procedures related to lost or damaged luggage.

-Consumer Withdrawal: The tour is sold as a fixed package, therefore there will be no refund or discount for services that clients choose not to use or in which they cannot participate due to personal or medical reasons, flight schedules, or other events.

-Conduct During the Trip: If a passenger's behavior jeopardizes the operation of the tour and/or causes discomfort to the rest of the group, they will be required to leave the tour without any discount or refund for services they cannot use.

-Credit Card: Generally, hotels require passengers to provide a credit card or a cash deposit as a guarantee to provide services such as telephone calls, extras in bars and restaurants, minibar, laundry, room service charges, etc.

-Personal Documentation and Entry Requirements In Japan: It is the client's responsibility to inform themselves about the current entry and exit regulations of the country they are traveling to, as well as to carry the personal documents required by the authorities. Luxotour assumes no responsibility in this regard. Please note that visa, transit, entry, and vaccination regulations vary from country to country and may be subject to change at short notice.

Day 2: TOKYO

Arrival at Narita or Haneda International Airport. A Spanish-speaking assistant will be waiting to help you arrange your shared transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel is from 3:00 PM onwards, and the rest of the day is free. Overnight stay.

Day 3: TOKYO

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a panoramic city tour, including the Meiji Shrine dedicated to the former Emperor Mutsuhito, the Imperial Palace Plaza, Senso-ji Temple, and Nakamise Street, with its souvenir shops. Lunch on your own in Nakamise. Rest of the afternoon at leisure and return to the hotel independently. Overnight stay.

Day 4: TOKYO - HAKONE - TOKYO

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for an excursion to visit the city of Hakone, beginning the day with a boat ride on Lake Ashi, from where you can admire views of Mount Fuji. Followed by a visit to Hakone-jinja Shrine, a beautiful Shinto shrine famous for its torii gate built on the lake shore. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Hakone Open Air Museum. Return to the hotel in Tokyo. Overnight stay.

Day 5: TOKYO – KYOTO – NARA – KYOTO

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the station to catch the bullet train to Kyoto. Upon arrival, the excursion to Nara begins, including a visit to Todai-ji Temple with the Colossal Buddha statue and the Nara Deer Park. Free time for lunch. Return to Kyoto in the afternoon and check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay.


*Note: One suitcase per person will be sent separately by truck from the hotel in Tokyo to the hotel in Kyoto.

Day 6: KYOTO

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a full-day excursion in Kyoto. The morning begins with a visit to Sanjusangendo Temple, home to a thousand statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy. We continue to Fushimi Inari Shrine with its thousands of torii gates and the Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku-ji). Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the beautiful Japanese garden of Tenryu-ji Temple and conclude at the Sagana Bamboo Grove in Arashiyama. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Breakfast. Free day at your leisure to continue exploring the city on your own or book an optional excursion. Overnight stay.

Day 8: KYOTO - KANAZAWA

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Kanazawa. Arrival and city tour before check-in, starting with the lively Omicho Market. Lunch on your own at the market. In the afternoon, visit the Higashichaya district and Kenrokuen Garden, one of the most famous gardens in Japan. Transfer to your hotel in Kanazawa. Overnight stay.


*Note: One suitcase per person will be sent separately by truck from the hotel in Kyoto to the hotel in Osaka. Please bring a backpack with clothes and other essentials for one night in Kanazawa and another in Gero/Gifu.

Day 9: KANAZAWA - SHIRAKAWAGO - TAKAYAMA - GERO/GIFU

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Gero/Gifu. En route, we will stop in Shirakawago to visit the Gasshozukuri-style houses. Transfer to Takayama to explore the charming historic Kamisannomachi district with its souvenir shops and sake breweries. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Yatai Kaikan, the Takayama Festival float exhibition. Transfer to a ryokan, where you will enjoy a night in true Japanese style and check-in. Enjoy an onsen (hot spring) bath at your ryokan. Overnight stay.

In the afternoon, visit Nagoya Castle and Honmaru Goten Palace, notable for its beautifully painted walls and sliding doors. Transfer to your hotel in Nagoya and check-in. Overnight stay.

Day 11: NAGOYA - ISE - TOBA

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Ise to visit Japan's most important Shinto shrine, dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu. Lunch at an Ama hut, where divers catch and cook shellfish. In the afternoon, visit Mikimoto Pearl Island, where you will receive a demonstration by the divers on pearl cultivation. Arrival in Toba and check-in. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 12: TOBA - ISE - KUMANO - NACHI KATSUURA

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Nachi Katsuura. Stop in Ise to see Meotoiwa, two rocks in the sea tied together with a thick straw rope, marking a sacred place where gods descend, symbolizing a good marriage. Continue to Kumano to visit Onigajo, a collection of spectacular rock formations and grottoes sculpted by the sea and wind. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will begin a light trek along the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route. During the walk, we will see Daimonzaka, the cobbled slope flanked by cedar trees, and continue to one of the three great shrines of Kumano and the destination of the Shinto pilgrimage route, Seigantoji Temple with its three-story pagoda, and next to it, Nachi Waterfall, which plunges 133 meters. Transfer to your ryokan in Nachi Katsuura, where you will enjoy a night in true Japanese style and check-in. Enjoy an onsen (hot spring) bath at your ryokan. Dinner and overnight stay.

In the afternoon, visit Kongobuji Temple, the headquarters of the Shingon school of Buddhism, and later, visit Okunoin Cemetery, which boasts over 200,000 gravestones and cenotaphs amidst a forest of ancient cedar trees. Continue the transfer to Osaka. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay.
