Day 2: HAMMAMET - EL JEM – SFAX

After breakfast, depart for Sousse, where you will visit the medina and its Ribat. Continue to Monastir, where you will stroll around the esplanade of the Habid Bourguiba Mausoleum. Then, continue to El Jem to visit its magnificent Roman amphitheater (better preserved than Rome's and undoubtedly one of Tunisia's most famous monuments, thanks to its impressive architecture that stands majestically among the city's low houses). Lunch and then continue to Sfax, Tunisia's second most populous city and an important industrial and port center. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel, and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. We recommend exploring the medina, one of the most authentic in all of Tunisia. Its walls are almost intact, and the best way to enter the historic center is through the Bad Diwan gate. Wander through the various souks, which retain all the charm of yesteryear, and experience the city's daily life. Dinner and overnight stay.
