Kumarakom

On the shores of Vembanad Lake is Kumarakom, made up of a group of small islands located about 16 km from Kottayam. Especially known for its tranquil backwaters, a bird sanctuary, located in the Kumarakom Nature Park, and its new and elegant accommodation establishments.
