Munnar

Munnaris a city in the Western Ghats mountain range in the Kerala state of India. It is a mountain town and a former exclusive resort of the British Raj. Its sprawling tea plantations, picturesque towns, winding streets and holiday facilities make this city a popular tourist destination. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands of the area, the Neelakurinji flower stands out. This flower, which bathes the mountains in blue once every twelve years.
