  • Cancellations received up to 61 days prior to the start date of services will not incur a penalty.
  • Cancellations received between 60 and 48 days prior to the start date of services will incur a penalty of 40% of the total cost of services.
  • Cancellations received between 47 and 34 days prior to the start date of services will incur a penalty of 50% of the total cost of services.
  • Cancellations received between 33 and 24 days prior to the start date of services will incur a penalty of 75% of the total cost of services.
  • Cancellations received between 23 and 17 days prior to the start date of services will incur a penalty of 85% charge of the total cost of the services.

-People with reduced mobility: Many places, hotels, and transport are not wheelchair accessible. Please check and notify us before booking. Any additional assistance costs required during the tour will be the responsibility of the client.

-Rooms: Single rooms may be smaller than double rooms. These rooms are generally double rooms with either two single beds or one double bed.

-Possible changes to accommodations: If it is not possible to confirm the planned hotels, an alternative will be offered to the client within the same contracted category.

-Special dietary requirements: Cases of food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc.) must be communicated before arrival in India, although it is not possible to guarantee any type of special diet or menu.

-Free time: During free time, clients will not have access to transportation or a local guide.

-Possible route changes: Our representative in India has the full right to readjust the order of visits, internal flight schedules, hotels, restaurants, and means of transport once the trip has begun and for the benefit of the client, or to cancel the program due to force majeure, without prior notice and without that this implies any type of refund.

-Baggage: In case of loss of baggage by the airlines, it will be the passenger's responsibility to manage the claim and call the company directly to arrange for delivery or compensation that may apply. Luxotour will not be responsible for any claims related to lost or damaged luggage.

-Consumer Withdrawal: The program is sold as a closed package, therefore there will be no refund or discount for services that clients choose not to use or in which they cannot participate due to personal or medical reasons, flight schedules, or other events.

-Conduct During the Trip: If a passenger's behavior jeopardizes the operation of the tour and/or causes disturbance to the rest of the group or at the hotels, they will be forced to leave the tour without any discount or refund for services they cannot use.

-Credit Card: Generally, hotels require passengers to provide a credit card or a cash deposit as a guarantee to provide services such as telephone calls, extras in bars and restaurants, minibar, laundry, room service charges, etc.

-Personal Documentation and entry requirements in India: It is the client's responsibility to inform themselves about the current entry and exit regulations of the country they are traveling to, as well as to carry the personal documents required by the authorities. Luxotour assumes no responsibility in this regard. Please note that visa, transit, entry, and vaccination regulations vary from country to country and may be subject to change at short notice.

Day 1: BARCELONA - DELHI

Departure on a Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul, where you will connect to another flight to Delhi. Overnight on board.

Day 2: DELHI

Arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport.

After baggage claim, an assistant will welcome you and escort you to your vehicle for transfer to the hotel. Check in and have breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a full day discovering the great contrasts of Delhi, from the historic charm of Old Delhi to the monumental elegance of New Delhi. The day begins with a visit to the majestic Jama Masjid mosque, one of the largest in India, passing by the imposing Red Fort and riding a bicycle rickshaw through the lively streets of Chandni Chowk, the heart of Old Delhi. Next, visit Raj Ghat, the poignant memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the impressive Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world and a masterpiece of Indo-Islamic architecture. The tour continues through the elegant government district of Rashtrapati Bhavan, home to the Presidential Residence, Parliament House, and the iconic India Gate—magnificent examples of the architectural legacy of the British colonial period—ending with the Salt March Memorial. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: DELHI - SAMODE - JAIPUR

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Jaipur, the famous ‘Pink City’ of Rajasthan, with a stop en route in Samode Village. Lunch at Samode Palace. Continue to Jaipur. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will attend an Aarti ceremony at Birla Temple. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: JAIPUR

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to discover the majestic Amber Fort, perched atop a hill just outside Jaipur. Enclosed by imposing walls, this spectacular complex houses palaces, temples, and beautiful gardens, including the Jagmandir, the Jai Mahal, and the Kali Temple. Lunch at a local restaurant. The tour continues to Jaipur's main monuments, including the City Palace with its elegant buildings such as the Chandra Mahal, the Mubarak Mahal, and the magnificent Peacock Gate, as well as the iconic Palace of Winds and the historic Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory. The day continues with a visit to the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation, dedicated to the empowerment and training of vulnerable women. As a grand finale, we will enjoy a unique cultural experience in the home of a local family, where we will participate in a traditional Indian cooking class taught by a woman from the family, share dinner with them, receive a henna session, and learn how to wear a traditional sari, authentically experiencing the customs and hospitality of Rajasthan. Day 5: JAIPUR - FATEHPUR SIKRI - AGRA

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Agra, crossing the arid landscapes of Rajasthan. En route, we will visit the fascinating Fatehpur Sikri, the legendary "ghost city" of the Mughal Empire, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The former capital of Emperor Akbar the Great, this extraordinary monumental complex allows you to travel back five centuries and discover the grandeur of his empire through its palaces, pavilions, and mosques. During the visit, we will see the Mausoleum of Salim Chishti, the Panch Mahal, and the imposing Jama Masjid. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Agra. Arrival at the hotel and free afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: AGRA

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for an excursion to visit the Taj Mahal, the marble ode that has captivated the world with its beauty. The mausoleum was built by Shah Jahan, the heartbroken Mughal emperor, after the death of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, in childbirth. For 22 years, the emperor recruited the finest artisans, masons, and architects from as far away as Italy and France to construct this majestic monument. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Second Chance - The Recycle Store, a women-run social enterprise in Agra that has been operating successfully for two years thanks to the efforts of three dedicated women. The initiative promotes environmental sustainability by encouraging the collection, sorting, recycling, and reuse of household items, clothing, books, toys, and other reusable materials. Later, visit Agra Fort, whose red sandstone ramparts protect a dozen exquisite Mughal palaces and pavilions. Explore the Diwan-i-Am (Hall of Public Audience), where the emperor addressed his subjects, and the Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience), where he met with foreign dignitaries. In contrast to other parts of the fortress, the Mina Masjid, the ‘heavenly mosque,’ is built of white marble, like the Taj Mahal. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: AGRA - VENARES

Very early transfer to the train station to catch the train to Varanasi, with a packed picnic breakfast. Arrival in Varanasi and transfer to the hotel. Lunch. In the afternoon, we will depart for a walk along the ghats. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8: Benares

At dawn, we will head to the banks of the sacred Ganges River for an unforgettable boat ride, witnessing the purification rituals, the sacred bathing of pilgrims, and the intense spirituality that envelops the ghats as the city awakens. Afterward, we will participate in a yoga session led by a local teacher and explore Varanasi, visiting the Temple of Mother India, with its extraordinary marble map of the country, as well as the Durga and Tulsi Manas Mandir temples. Return to the hotel for breakfast and free time before lunch. In the afternoon, we will depart for Sarnath, the site where Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment, one of Buddhism's major pilgrimage centers. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9: VENARES - BOMBAY

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Mumbai, India's vibrant financial capital and the birthplace of the Bollywood film industry. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Lunch at a local restaurant. The rest of the afternoon is free to begin exploring this fascinating metropolis on the country's west coast, known for iconic landmarks such as India's Gateway, the rock-hewn temples of Elephanta Island, and its unique blend of tradition, modernity, and dynamism. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10: BOMBAY

Breakfast at the hotel. We will begin with a panoramic tour of Mumbai, visiting some of its most iconic landmarks. We will see the imposing India Gate, a symbol of the city, the historic Afghan Church, and admire architecturally significant buildings such as the High Court, the Old Registry Office, the University of Mumbai with its Rajabai Clock Tower, the iconic Victoria Terminus, and Flora Fountain. We will also explore the lively Crawford Market and the famous Marine Drive, known as the "Queen's Necklace." Lunch at a local restaurant. Free time will be available for strolling and shopping in the popular Colaba and Crawford Markets, where you will find handicrafts, textiles, spices, and souvenirs. To end the day, we will enjoy a scenic drive along Marine Drive at sunset, with the option of a brief stop at Girgaon Chowpatty to soak up the seaside atmosphere and magnificent views of Mumbai's coastline. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
