Bhaktapur
Bhaktapur, known as the "City of the Devotees," is an ancient medieval city in the Kathmandu Valley, about 13 km east of the capital. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, it is renowned for its exceptionally well-preserved Newar architecture, vibrant culture, and traditional crafts. Tourists should note that there is an entrance fee of USD 15 per person, as it is a historical city.
