- GROUND SERVICES:
Cancellations received between 45 and 22 days prior to the start date of the services, will have a penalty of 50% of the total cost of the services.
Cancellations received between 21 and 16 days prior to the start date of the services, will have a penalty of 75% of the total cost of the services.
Cancellations received from 15 days prior to the start date of the services, will have a penalty of 100%.
-The deadline for reservation requests for this tour or extra services will be 30 days prior to arrival in Sri Lanka. After this deadline, any changes or added services will incur an emergency handling fee. Requests for changes or new services cannot be guaranteed after the reservation deadline.
-Possible changes in accommodations: If any of the hotels included in this program are not available at the time of reservation request, an alternative will be offered with the corresponding price revision.
-Triple rooms generally only have 2 beds.
-The breakfasts included in the hotels have assigned schedules according to the policies of each hotel establishment, generally being between 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Outside of the hours established by each hotel, the passenger will not have this service. Room service or breakfast bags are available at an additional cost.
- Early arrival at the hotel on the first day of travel does not guarantee that rooms will be available. Standard check-in times apply unless additional nights are purchased to guarantee immediate access to rooms. Rooms are generally available after 3:00 PM.
- Free time: During free time, clients do not have access to transportation or an escort from the guide.
- Possible route changes: Our representative in Sri Lanka has the full right to modify the program for the benefit of the client or due to force majeure. If weather conditions or other events beyond our control require it, the order of the itinerary may be affected.
-Photos and videos: in some places in Sri Lanka it is not permitted to take photos or record videos, please consult with your guide before starting the visits to avoid misunderstandings with local authorities.
-Special foods: cases of food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc.) must be communicated before arrival in Sri Lanka, although it is not possible to guarantee any type of special diet or menu.
-Consumer withdrawal: the circuit is sold as a closed package, so there will be no refund or discount for services that customers decide not to enjoy or in which they cannot participate due to personal, medical reasons, flight schedules or other events.
-People with reduced mobility: many places in Sri Lanka, hotels and transport are not wheelchair accessible, please inquire and notify us before booking. Any additional assistance costs required throughout the tour will be borne by the customer.
-Luggage: In the event of luggage being lost by the airlines, it will be the passenger's responsibility to process the claim and call the airline directly to arrange for any applicable compensation. Luxotour will not be held responsible for any processing due to lost or broken luggage.
-Conduct during the trip: In the event that a passenger's behavior endangers the operation of the tour and/or causes inconvenience to the hotels, the passenger will be forced to leave the circuit without any type of discount or refund for the services that cannot be enjoyed.
-The consumption of alcohol is prohibited on holidays or days of special events.
-Credit card: Generally, hotels require the passenger to have a credit card or a cash deposit as a guarantee in order to provide services such as telephone calls, extras in bars and restaurants, minibar, laundry, room service charges, etc.
-Personal documentation and entry requirements in Sri Lanka: It is the client's responsibility to inform themselves about the current regulations regarding entry and exit to the country to which they are traveling, as well as to carry the personal documents required by the authorities. Luxotour assumes no responsibility in this regard. Please note that visa, transit, entry, and health requirements vary from country to country and may change at short notice.

Next, you will visit the magnificent Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This complex features five richly decorated caves, filled with Buddha statues and colorful frescoes dating back over 2,000 years.
