-The deadline for requesting reservations for this circuit or extra services , will be 21 days before arrival in Sri Lanka, except for arrivals between July 19 and August 30, which will be 30 days before arrival. After this deadline, any change or added service will incur a supplement for emergency management. The request for changes or new services cannot be guaranteed after the reservation deadline.

-Photos and videos: in some places in Sri Lanka it is not allowed take photos or record videos, please consult with your guide before starting the visits to avoid misunderstandings with local authorities.
-Special foods: cases of food intolerances ( allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc...) must be communicated before arrival in Sri Lanka, although it is not possible to guarantee any type of special diet or menu.
-Consumer withdrawal: the circuit is sold as a closed package, so there will be no refunds or discounts for services that clients decide not to enjoy or in which they cannot participate due to personal, medical reasons, flight schedules or other events.
-People with reduced mobility: many places in Sri Lanka, hotels and transport are not wheelchair accessible, please check and notify before making the reservation. Any additional expenses for assistance required throughout the tour will be borne by the client.
-Baggage: In case of lost luggage by the airlines, it will be the responsibility of the passenger to manage the claim and call the company directly to process the delivery or compensation that may apply. Luxotour will not be responsible for any processing due to loss or breakage of suitcases.
-Behavior during the trip: in the event that the attitude of a passenger endangers the operation of the tour and/or cause inconvenience to the rest of the group, they will be forced to leave the circuit without any type of discount or refund for the services they cannot enjoy.
-Credit card: Generally, hotels require the passenger to provide a credit card or a cash deposit as a guarantee in order to facilitate the services of telephone calls, extras in bars and restaurants, minibar, laundry, room service charges, etc.
-Personal documentation and entry requirements in Sri Lanka: it is the client's responsibility to inform themselves about the current regulations regarding entry and exit of the country to which they are traveling, as well as to bring the personal documents required by the authorities. Arrival at Colombo airport. Luggage collection, reception and transfer to the hotel. During the journey you will be able to enjoy a panoramic tour (*) through Colombo, the most populated city and commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Located on the western coast of the island, it is a vibrant city full of life and with a surprising mix of modern architecture, colonial buildings and some ruins. Due to its large natural harbor and its strategic position on the sea trade routes linking East and West, it has been more than 2,000 years since traders have been aware of its existence. The city is divided into different areas, the central one is the business center, restaurants and leisure area. During the tour you will pass through the most representative places of Colombo: the Fort, the residential neighborhood of Petah, the Cinnamon Gardens, the Galle Face Park and the Viharamahadevi Park. Accommodation.

Cold breakfast (picnic) and very early transfer to the station for the Intercity train to Anuradhapura (the journey will take approximately 3.5 hours). Upon arrival, visit the archaeological city of Anuradhapura, one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka from the 4th century BC to the early 11th century AD. The city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was once the most important center of political life and power in South Asia. Considered sacred to Buddhism, the city is now surrounded by monasteries. Lunch at a local restaurant and departure for Mihintale, the site of the legendary meeting between Buddha and King Devanampiyatissa, marking the beginning of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. Today, it is a sacred pilgrimage site with numerous religious monuments and abandoned statues. After the visit, continue to Dambulla. Dinner and overnight stay.

Optional activities: For this free day, we offer two optional excursions: a visit to Sigiriya Fortress or a visit to Polonnaruwa.

Breakfast. In the morning, depart along the south coast road to the coastal town of Galle, stopping en route to see the fishermen in Weligama. Visit the city of Galle, which reached its peak in the 18th century, before the arrival of the British. The old town of Galle was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988. It is believed that the present-day city was the port of ancient Tarshish, to which the Hebrew King Solomon sent ships to obtain the ivory and peacocks mentioned in the Bible. The walk along the city walls, from Utrecht Bastion to Flag Rock Bastion, offers a good overview of the city and the old harbor. Visit the Old Dutch Fortress of Galle. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue to Bentota. Dinner and overnight stay.
