The hotel categories offered in this program are for guidance only, comparing them to categories in Europe; they are not official categories. Breakfast included in the hotels has assigned times according to each hotel's policies, generally between 6:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Outside of the hours established by each hotel, the passenger will forfeit this service. Room service or breakfast bag rentals are available at an additional cost. Early arrival at the hotel on the first day of travel does not guarantee room availability. Standard check-in times apply unless additional nights are purchased to guarantee immediate access to the rooms. Rooms are generally available from 3:00 p.m. There is also a check-out time on the day of departure from the hotel, which is between 10:00 and 11:00 AM. Triple rooms generally only have two beds. When choosing a beach, we suggest considering the weather conditions before selecting your beach destination in Thailand. If the client chooses to return to their city of origin via Bangkok, the minimum connection time between a domestic and an international flight is 3 hours. Purchasing a connection with less time than recommended may cause you to miss your international flight, and in that case, the customer would be responsible for any additional costs incurred.
-Baggage: In case of lost luggage by the airlines, it is the passenger's responsibility to manage the claim and contact the airline directly to arrange for delivery or any applicable compensation. Luxotour will not be responsible for any claims related to lost or damaged luggage.
-Persons with reduced mobility: Some locations, hotels, and transportation options are not wheelchair accessible. Please check and notify us before making your reservation. Any additional expenses for assistance required throughout the tour will be the responsibility of the client.
-Special Diets: Cases of food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc.) must be communicated before arrival in Thailand, although it is not possible to guarantee any type of special diet or menu.
-Consumer Withdrawal: The tour is sold as a fixed package, therefore there will be no refund or discount for services that clients decide not to use or in which they cannot participate due to personal or medical reasons, flight schedules, or other events.
-Conduct During the Trip: If a passenger's attitude jeopardizes the operation of the tour and/or causes discomfort to the rest of the group, they will be obliged to leave the tour without any discount or refund for the services they cannot use.
-Credit Card: Generally, hotels They require the passenger to provide a credit card or cash deposit as a guarantee to facilitate services such as telephone calls, extras in bars and restaurants, minibar, laundry, room service charges, etc.
-Personal Documentation and Entry Requirements for Thailand: It is the client's responsibility to inform themselves about the current entry and exit regulations of the country they are traveling to, as well as to carry the personal documents required by the authorities. After breakfast, we depart for the Mae Tang area. Our first stop will be at the local market in Mae Malai, where you can purchase food for the hikes. Afterward, we continue to Mok Fah Waterfall, where you can take a swim or relax. In the afternoon, we change vehicles and board a truck that will take us along a rugged road to Huay Nam Dung National Park. From there, we'll hike for approximately two hours to reach a Karen village. A local English-speaking tour guide will accompany you throughout the hike, providing instruction on how to navigate the jungle trail and pointing out various types of trees and vegetation. Once in the village, you'll have free time to explore the area, chat with the locals, or participate in local activities. Dinner and accommodation in a basic bamboo hut, without electricity and in a shared room with other members of the expedition. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE, these are the items the client must bring to cover their basic needs until the return to Chiang Mai: walking shoes, sandals or flip-flops, several pairs of pants and t-shirts, a jacket or sweatshirt, sleeping bag, flashlight with enough battery for 3 days, raincoat or poncho, swimsuit, sunglasses, cap or hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, towel and other toiletries.

Day 4: KAREN TRIBE VILLAGE
Breakfast in the village and departure for an approximately 4-hour hike to reach the Karen village of Bann Pang Khao Laam. A stunning trek, mostly under the shade of lush green trees. Lunch in the village; the English-speaking guide will showcase their culinary skills by preparing lunch for the group. After lunch, enjoy some free time to explore the village and observe the local way of life. At sunset, you will have the opportunity to spend about 40 minutes caring for an elephant by feeding it and giving it a bath in the river. Dinner and overnight stay in the village in a basic bamboo hut, without electricity and shared with other members of the expedition.

Day 5: KAREN TRIBE VILLAGE - CHIANG MAI
Breakfast in the village and departure aboard a bamboo raft along the Mae Tang River for approximately two hours (depending on the water level), until reaching the Lahu hill tribe village at Baan Pong Ngan. Free time for a short break and to explore the surroundings by visiting the Lahu people and village. Afterward, we resume our journey along the river on the bamboo raft. After approximately two hours, we arrive at Shan village, where we will have lunch. Following lunch, transfer back to Chiang Mai by local car.

Lunch at a local restaurant and continuation to Bangkok. Arrival at the hotel and rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay.
