located just 8 kilometers from the center of Sapa. Two ethnic groups mainly coexist there: the Dzay and the H'mong. The former live in the areas closest to the valleys, while the H'mong tend to be in higher parts of the mountains. Visiting the Ta Van village you can walk across the Cau May Bridge, also known as the Cloud Bridge, one of the main attractions of the place. It is a wooden bridge, used mainly by the H'mong, that is hung between two trees. On foggy days a curious phenomenon occurs, and it seems that the bridge is floating between clouds. Hence it is also known as Cloud Bridge. Something that stands out in this village is the warmth and kindness of its inhabitants.
