Kuranda

Barron Gorge National Park, located in Queensland near Cairns and Kuranda, is famous for its stunning gorge, Barron Falls, and lush rainforest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a popular destination for waterfall viewing (especially after summer rains), white-water rafting, hiking, and riding the Kuranda Scenic Railway.Its main attraction is Barron Falls, a spectacular waterfall that flows most powerfully between December and March. It can be viewed from the Edge Lookout, which is accessed after a walk through the rainforest.
