FLIGHTS: 100% penalty from the moment the air tickets are issued. Name change is not allowed.

CIRCUIT (ground services and accommodations):

  • Cancellations received up to 46 days prior to the start date of services, without penalty.
  • Cancellations received between 45 and 35 days prior to the start date of services, will have a penalty of 10% of the total cost of services.
  • Cancellations received between 34 and 25 days prior to the start date of services, will have a penalty of 25% of the total cost of services.
  • Cancellations received between 24 and 15 days prior to the start date of services, will have a penalty of 50% of the total cost of services.
  • Cancellations received between 14 and 8 days prior to the start date of services, will have a penalty of 65% charge of the total cost of services.
  • Cancellations received between 7 and 3 days prior to the start date of services will have a penalty of 85% of the total cost of services.
  • Cancellations received from 2 days prior to the start date of services will have a penalty of 100%.

-Guaranteed departure from 20 passengers.

-People with reduced mobility: Many places, hotels, and transportation are not wheelchair accessible. Please check and notify us before booking. Any additional assistance costs required during the tour will be the responsibility of the client.

-Rooms: Single rooms may be smaller than double rooms. Triple rooms cannot be guaranteed until confirmed by each hotel. These rooms are generally double rooms with either two single beds or one double bed and one small folding bed.

-Possible changes to accommodations: If it is not possible to confirm the planned hotels, an alternative will be offered to the client within the same contracted category.

-Special diets: Cases of food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc.) must be communicated before arrival in China, although it is not possible to guarantee any type of special diet or menu.

-Free time: During free time, clients do not have transportation or a local guide.

-Possible route changes: Our representative in China has the full right to readjust the order of visits, domestic flight schedules, hotels, restaurants, and means of transport once the trip has begun and for the client's benefit, or to cancel the program. Due to force majeure, without prior notice and without this implying any type of refund.

-Baggage: In case of loss of baggage by the airlines, it will be the passenger's responsibility to manage the claim and call the company directly to arrange for delivery or compensation that may apply. Luxotour will not be responsible for any claims related to lost or damaged luggage.

-Consumer Withdrawal: The program is sold as a closed package, therefore there will be no refund or discount for services that clients choose not to use or in which they cannot participate due to personal or medical reasons, flight schedules, or other events.

-Conduct During the Trip: If a passenger's behavior jeopardizes the operation of the tour and/or causes disturbance to the rest of the group or at the hotels, they will be forced to leave the tour without any discount or refund for services they cannot use.

-Credit Card: Generally, hotels require passengers to provide a credit card or a cash deposit as a guarantee to provide services such as telephone calls, extras in bars and restaurants, minibar, laundry, room service charges, etc.

-Personal Documentation and entry requirements for China: It is the client's responsibility to inform themselves about the current entry and exit regulations of the country they are traveling to, as well as to carry the personal documents required by the authorities. Luxotour assumes no responsibility in this regard. Please note that visa, transit, entry, and vaccination regulations vary from country to country and may be subject to change at short notice.

Day 1: BARCELONA - BEIJING

Departure on an Air China flight to Beijing. Overnight flight.

Day 2: BEIJING

Early morning arrival at Beijing International Airport. Transfer to the hotel for check-in and luggage. Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will visit Tiananmen Square, the Imperial Palace (known as the Forbidden City, where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties lived), and the Temple of Heaven, a center of traditional medicine. Lunch at a local restaurant where we will sample the famous Peking duck. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 3: BEIJING

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for an excursion to visit the Great Wall, a spectacular architectural work built to defend the city against invasions by nomadic tribes. Lunch will be served at a simple restaurant near the wall. We will also visit the Summer Palace, where the imperial families of the Ming and Qing dynasties spent their summers. Finally, we will stop near the Bird's Nest (National Stadium) and the Water Cube (National Swimming Center) before returning to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 4: BEIJING - XI'AN

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the train station for your high-speed train to Xi'an, the capital of thirteen dynasties and renowned as the starting point of the ancient Silk Road. Upon arrival, you will be met at the station and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free. Overnight stay.

Day 5: XI`AN

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum of the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum, with its thousands of life-size clay soldiers that guarded the tomb of Lord Qin Shi Huang. We will also visit a terracotta figure-making workshop. Lunch at a local restaurant. To end the day, we will visit the Great Mosque and stroll through the Muslim Quarter, a network of streets and shops reminiscent of an Arab souk. Overnight stay.

Day 6: XI`AN - SHANGHAI

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport and departure on a local flight to Shanghai, the commercial center of China. Arrival and departure for a brief panoramic tour of the city, where we will visit The Bund, an iconic area with European-style skyscrapers. Lunch at a local restaurant. Before returning to the hotel, there will be a visit to a silk workshop. Overnight stay.

Day 7: SHANGHAI

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will visit the old part of the city, including the Old Quarter and the famous Yuyu Gardens, one of the most famous gardens in China, designed by the Ming Dynasty and built by an official, modeled after imperial gardens. Free time for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, visit the Jade Buddha Temple and later, we will visit the Puxi area, the modern part of the city, where we find the Bund. A walk through the Tianzifang area will also be organized. Overnight stay.

Day 8: SHANGHAI

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day at your leisure to continue exploring the city on your own, or to book one of the optional excursions we offer for this day (excursion to Suzhou or excursion to Zhujajiao). Overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until your transfer to the airport for your return flight to your city of origin. Overnight on board.
