Bakkagerdi

Borgarfjörður is a valley about 10 km long, very fertile and green. A very popular area with hikers. The area is also known for its beautiful stones, pebbles and minerals. A small village of about 100 inhabitants, also known as Bakkagerdi. At first glance, Borgarfjordur Eystri does not seem to offer many tourist attractions for the visitor, but once there, you will discover some interesting attractions that are well worth a visit to this area of eastern Iceland.
