Norwegian, along with Swedish, Danish, Icelandic and Faroese, is a North Germanic language. Except for small migrant communities, Norwegian is not spoken outside Norway.
There is no official religion. However, the majority of Norwegians (76%) belong to the Protestant Church of Norway, but only 10% are practising.
