The Iga-ryu Ninja Museum, located in a forested area of the castle town of Iga, Mie Prefecture, is a museum dedicated to the history of ninja and ninjutsu. It was founded in 1964 and is located near Iga Ueno Castle.Historically, many ninjas came from this remote area of Japan, where they trained to carry out missions ranging from espionage to protecting important people. The Iga-ryu Ninja Museum is a place to learn about the skills, knowledge, and activities of ninjas.The museum displays over 400 items used by ninjas. The Ninja Mansion hides a large number of secrets: traps, false passages, hidden weapons, escape routes, and much more. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to experience some of these secrets firsthand. In the Ninja Experience and Ninja Tradition rooms, you can see the tools and weapons used by ninjas, as well as their secret lives and knowledge. You'll see a host of interesting exhibits, such as authentic ninja stars, hidden weapons, and other weapons. You can also try throwing iron shurikens like a real ninja, and you'll immediately realize how difficult this technique is to master.
