Children under 12 are not accepted on regular safaris (shared with other passengers), as these trips have fixed departure times that must be respected to avoid disrupting other trips. For families with children, we recommend a private safari, which offers flexibility and a more inclusive experience tailored to the needs of all family members.

-Luggage: In case of In the event of lost luggage by the airlines, it is the passenger's responsibility to manage the claim and contact the airline directly to arrange for delivery or any applicable compensation. Luxotour will not be responsible for any claims related to lost or damaged luggage.
-People with reduced mobility: Some places, hotels, and transportation are not wheelchair accessible; please check and notify us before making your reservation. Any additional expenses for assistance required throughout the tour will be the responsibility of the client.
-Special Diets: Cases of food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc.) must be communicated before arrival in Kenya, although it is not possible to guarantee any type of special diet or menu.
-Consumer Withdrawal: The tour is sold as a fixed package, therefore there will be no refund or discount for services that clients decide not to use or in which they cannot participate due to personal or medical reasons, flight schedules, or other events.
-Conduct During the Trip: If a passenger's behavior jeopardizes the operation of the tour and/or causes discomfort to the rest of the group, they will be obliged to leave the tour without any discount or refund for the services they cannot use.
-Credit Card: Generally, Hotels require passengers to provide a credit card or cash deposit as a guarantee to cover services such as telephone calls, extras in bars and restaurants, minibar, laundry, room service charges, etc.
-Personal Documentation and Entry Requirements for Kenya: It is the client's responsibility to be aware of the current entry and exit regulations for the country they are traveling to, as well as to carry the personal documents required by the authorities. Luxotour assumes no responsibility in this regard. Please note that visa, transit, entry, and vaccination regulations vary from country to country and may be subject to change at short notice.
On regularly departing safaris, space is limited and one suitcase per person is permitted. Soft-sided luggage, such as a duffel bag, is recommended as space is limited in the 4x4 vehicles. Large suitcases exceeding 60x42x26 cm cannot be stored in the 4x4s and should not be used.
Luggage and personal belongings travel at the owner's risk.
Day 1: NAIROBI
Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, assistance and transfer to the hotel (*), where you will have a briefing regarding your safari and the destination in general. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.
(*) Rooms are generally not available before 2:00 PM.

Day 2: NAIROBI - SHABA/SAMBURU
At 7:00 AM, departure for the Samburu North Border District, crossing Kenya's agricultural and scenic Central Highlands, dotted with pineapple, tea, and coffee plantations. The journey will take us past the town of Nanyuki (the base of Mount Kenya), and an hour later, we will pass through the town of Isiolo, the gateway to the Samburu North Border, Buffalo, and Shaba National Parks. Arrival in time for lunch at the lodge. Sunset game drive in either Buffalo Springs National Reserve or Samburu National Reserve. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3:
Early breakfast and departure for a short photo safari to capture the magic and beauty of northern Kenya. Afterward, we head towards the central Kenyan highlands, in the direction of Nyeri. Arrival at the Aberdare Country Club in time for lunch. In the afternoon, transfer by Club vehicles to our accommodation for the night (Ark Lodge) (*), located in the heart of Aberdare National Park, where we will enjoy an afternoon and evening observing wildlife that comes to drink at the waterhole in front of the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay.
(*) For this night, you should only bring a small bag (backpack) with your essential personal items (toiletry bag, clothes for the next day, medication, camera, etc.), as space is very limited. The rest of your luggage will remain at the base hotel (Aberdare Country Club).

Day 4: ABERDARE - LAKE NAKURU
Breakfast and transfer back to the Aberdare Country Club to continue towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Stop in the Nyahururu area, where you can take a short optional visit to Thompson Falls at an additional cost of USD 10 per passenger. Afterwards, continue your journey, beginning the descent of the Great Rift Valley, a spectacular scenic drive. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. Evening game drive in this famous bird sanctuary. Several families of white rhinos that inhabit the area can usually be spotted here. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: LAKE NAKURU - MAASAI MARA
Early breakfast and at 7:30 a.m., departure for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, driving along the Rift Valley, passing Lakes Elementaita and Naivasha, through the town of Mai Mahiu and Narok Town (the Maasai capital). Arrival at the camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, a game drive in Kenya's most popular reserve. Return to the lodge at sunset. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: MAASAI MARA
Full board. Today you can choose between two options: a full-day safari with a picnic lunch, or a photo safari at dawn and another at dusk. In the Maasai Mara National Reserve, there is a high probability of spotting the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros). Overnight stay.

Day 7: MAASAI MARA - NAIROBI
Breakfast and departure for Nairobi. Arrival and the rest of the afternoon is free until your transfer to the famous Carnivore restaurant for dinner. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 8: NAIROBI - AMBOSELI
Early breakfast before departing at 8:00 AM for the Mount Kilimanjaro area and continuing from there through the typical African savanna, dotted with local farms and colorful Maasai herders with their cattle, to Amboseli National Park. Arrival at the lodge, located in the heart of the park, in time for lunch. Around 3:00 PM, departure for a photo safari in Amboseli, famous for its large herds of elephants. At sunset, return to the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: AMBOSELI - NAIROBI
Early this morning, we will embark on a photographic safari in Amboseli National Park. Weather permitting, you may witness the sunrise over Mount Kilimanjaro, one of the most spectacular times to photograph the mountain. After the safari, we will return to the lodge for breakfast before beginning our journey back to Nairobi. Arrival is expected around 1:00 PM, and you will have free time until your transfer to the airport.
