    Day 1: ANTANANARIVO

    Upon arrival at the capital's airport, visa formalities are completed and the group is met by the Spanish-speaking guide. Afterwards, transfer to the hotel, where a brief presentation about the next stage of the trip is given, along with informational materials and a welcome gift. Overnight stay.

    Day 2: ANTANANARIVO - ANDASIBE P.N.

    After breakfast, departure for Andasibe National Park, first crossing rice paddies and then the tropical rainforests of eastern Madagascar, a region inhabited by the Bezanozano and Betsimisaraka ethnic groups. During the journey, you may see the ravinala, the traveler's tree and national symbol. Lunch in Moramanga, a prominent crossroads with a lively market, followed by continuation to Andasibe. Upon arrival, check-in at the lodge and a presentation by the guide about the route and the country. Overnight stay.

    Day 3: ANDASIBE NATIONAL PARK

    After breakfast, an early departure for Analamazaotra National Park, within Andasibe National Park, for an approximately four-hour hike in search of the island's largest lemur, the Indri indri, as well as chameleons, frogs, tree ferns, and pandanus. After lunch (not included), a stroll through the town of Andasibe to meet the Betsimasaraka people. At the scheduled time, a night visit to the Voimma or Vakona Reserve, where you can observe various endemic species of the rainforest, such as the micro-zebu, before returning to the lodge. Overnight stay.

    Day 4: ANSIBE P.N - BEHENJY - ANTSIRABE

    After an early breakfast, continue towards the Malagasy Highlands, traveling through landscapes of terraced rice paddies along the famous RN7 road. Lunch is on your own in Behenjy, known as the foie gras capital, where you can sample different varieties of this delicacy. Afterwards, stop in Ambatolampy to discover the artisanal production of aluminum pots, found in most homes throughout the country. In the afternoon, arrive in Antsirabe, a thermal spa town founded by Norwegian Lutheran missionaries in the late 19th century and famous for its sodium chloride-rich waters. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay.

    Day 5: ANTSIRABE - MANANDONA VALLEY

    After breakfast, depart for the fertile valleys of the Vakinankaratra region, considered the "vegetable garden" of Madagascar. From the village of Manandona, enjoy an approximately one-hour walk through rice paddies to experience the local agricultural culture firsthand, participate in daily tasks, visit a traditional house and discover its "fady" (traditional Canarian houses), with the possibility of enjoying an impromptu musical performance. During the walk, you will see Mount Ibity, the island's third highest mountain at 2,345 meters, as well as a waterfall and a natural pool where swimming is possible during the austral summer. Return to the vehicles for the return trip to Antsirabe. After lunch, visit the historic center by pousse-pousse (shared taxi) or on foot, including the Atsena Kely market, the Notre Dame de la Salette Cathedral, the train station, the Ethnic Monument, and several French colonial buildings such as the Hotel des Thermes, where Mohammed V stayed during his exile in 1953. Overnight stay.

    Day 6: ANTSIRABE - AMBOSITRA - RANOMAFANA P.N

    After breakfast, depart for Ambositra, the capital of Malagasy handicrafts, located at an altitude of 1,350 meters and the cradle of the Betsileo ethnic group. The city is renowned for its Zafimaniry artisans, whose woodworking tradition has been declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, distinguished by their ancestral techniques passed down from generation to generation. During the visit, you can tour marquetry workshops and stroll through its lively streets. Between July and September, in the highlands, you might witness the “Famadihana” or return of the dead, a family ceremony that can only be attended by invitation. After lunch, continue to Ranomafana National Park. Overnight stay.

    Day 7: RANOMAFANA - SAHAMBAVY NATIONAL PARK

    After an early breakfast, enjoy a four-hour walking tour of Ranomafana National Park in search of lemurs such as the Edward's lemur (Propithecus edwardsi), the gray-backed lemur (Hapalemur griseus ranomafanensis), and the variegata lemur (Varecia variegata), among the twelve species that inhabit this lush rainforest, complete with tree ferns, wild orchids, and pandanus trees. The park is part of the Atsinanana Rainforests, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a panoramic view of the waterfall on the Namorona River, continue to Sahambavy to stroll through its unique tea plantations, learn about the production process, and sample its varieties (lunch on your own). Check in to the hotel next to the plantation, on the shores of Lake Sahambavy. Overnight stay.

    Day 8: SAHAMBAVY - FIANARANTSOA - AMBALAVAO - ANJA - ISALO

    Breakfast and departure for Ranohira. Stroll through the "old town" of Fianarantsoa and enjoy a panoramic view of the city from the "Haute Ville" (Old Town). Continue to the town of Ambalavao, where we will discover the curious production of Antemoro paper and the Anjà Nature Reserve, an ideal place for easily observing the ring-tailed lemur (Lemur catta), as well as chameleons and Betsileo-South tombs (Hiking ± 1.5 hours). Lunch on your own and continue to Isalo National Park. This stage marks the end of our journey through the highlands and the beginning of our descent through the Malagasy savanna, desert landscapes, and villages that have sprung up in the middle of nowhere.

    Day 9: ISALO NATIONAL PARK

    Breakfast and visit to Isalo National Park (easy-medium level). Visit to the Waterfall of the Nymphs, Blue Pool and Black Pool in the famous Namaza Canyon (picnic NOT included). The most visited park on the island has deep canyons where water flows in the form of streams, Bara tombs, caves where the Portuguese and Arabs hid. This park is a living testament to the history of Madagascar, where several species of lemurs gather, such as the Eulemur fulvus, Rufus, Eulemur rufifrons, and Verreaux's lemur (Propithecus verreauxi), among others. Also noteworthy are the endemic Isalo palm, Bismarkia nobilis, aloes, and Pachypodium. Return to the lodge. We will visit the village of the semi-nomadic Bara pastoralists of "Antabara" in Ikazandreno and enjoy the spectacular sunset from the "window of Isalo". Return to the hotel.

    Day 10: ISALO - TULEAR - RENIALA RESERVE - IFATY

    After an early breakfast, we depart for southern Madagascar, observing along the way the Mahafaly tombs, characterized by funerary stelae with paintings or sculptures of animals, couples, and everyday scenes, many covered with zebu skulls and horns, and the first baobabs of the south. Before reaching Tulear, we make a detour to visit the Tropic of Capricorn Monument, a work by the Belgian artist Bruno Decorte, where we receive a certificate acknowledging our passage across this parallel. After lunch on your own, we transfer to the Reniala Reserve, near the Mozambique Channel and the village of Ifaty-Mangily, which is home to the southern thorn forest, with more than 2,000 plant species, many endemic, including spectacular baobabs such as the giant "teapot" baobab, 13 meters in diameter and approximately 1,500 years old, as well as Didieraceae, Pachypodium, and Euphorbias. Approximately one hour walking tour to observe the endemic flora, followed by check-in at the hotel.

    Day 11: TULEAR - ANAKAO BEACHES

    After breakfast, transfer to Tulear airport with assistance from your Spanish-speaking guide.

    Breakfast and transfer by speedboat to Anakao, a fishing village of the Vezo ethnic group, famous for its paradisiacal beaches and the coral islands of Nosy Ve and Nosy Satrana. Arrival and check-in at the lodge, and at sunset we can witness the spectacle offered by dozens of lakanas returning from a hard day of fishing.

    Day 12: ANAKAO

    Free day in Anakao with half board. We recommend taking the excursion to the paradisiacal islet of Nosy Ve and Tsimanampetsotse National Park, with the possibility of adding extra nights.

    Day 13: ANAKAO - TULEAR - ANTANANARIVO

    Breakfast and transfer by speedboat to Tuléar at the agreed time (If there are two domestic flight options, please always book the first one in the morning). Transfer to Tuléar airport, domestic flight to the capital, arrival in Antananarivo, reception in Spanish and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

    Day 14: ANAKAO - TULEAR - ANTANANARIVO

    Breakfast and transfer by speedboat to Tuléar at the agreed time (If there are two domestic flight options, please always book the first one in the morning). Transfer to Tuléar airport, domestic flight to the capital, arrival in Antananarivo, reception in Spanish and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.
