Essaouira

Very popular seaside destination among travelers. Its medina has been classified as a World Heritage Site by Unesco since 2001. Its beach, of great beauty, stretches several kilometers to the south, where the strong trade winds make it the perfect place to practice surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. The forts in the old city are a mix of Portuguese, French and Berber military architecture, their solidity giving them a powerful mysticism.
