After breakfast, we'll depart to visit the Sossusvlei and Deadvlei dunes and Sesriem Canyon. The iconic Sossusvlei dunes come alive in the morning light, attracting photographers from around the world. At Deadvlei, we'll find dunes of white, salty clay dotted with ancient trees. Sesriem Canyon is a captivating natural wonder located in the heart of the Namib Desert, sculpted over millions of years by the Tsauchab River, a narrow gorge that bears witness to the power of erosion. The name Sesriem comes from the Afrikaans and Dutch words for six leather straps, which early settlers used tied together to draw water from the canyon's deep pools. Sesriem Canyon is not only a geological marvel but also a haven for unique desert flora and fauna, making it a popular stop for those exploring the surreal landscapes of the Namib Desert. Return to the lodge, dinner and overnight stay.

Founded in 1892 as the main port of German Southwest Africa, Swakopmund is often described as more German than Germany itself. Now a seaside resort, Swakopmund is the capital of the Skeleton Coast tourist area and has much to offer its visitors. The unique blend of German and Namibian influences, adventure options, relaxed atmosphere, and refreshing sea breezes make it a popular Namibian destination. Day 8: SWAKOPMUND - HENTIES BAY - UIS - TWYFELFONTEIN

After breakfast, we depart for Damaraland, a vast, ever-changing, and sparsely populated region, specifically heading towards Twyfelfontein. Just before reaching a small coastal town called Henties Bay, we will visit the Zeila shipwreck and learn its history. Then, en route, we will pass through another small town called Uis, where we will stop to visit a small Himba settlement or village. This is a unique opportunity to observe their traditional way of life, known for their ochre-colored skin, elaborate hairstyles, and clothing made from goatskin. Visitors can participate in cultural activities, learn about their spiritual beliefs, and purchase handmade crafts such as jewelry and pottery. Nearby, we will also see the Herero tribe, distinguished by their colorful Victorian dresses and horn-shaped hats, a reflection of German influence during the colonial era. Although the Herero have adopted modern aspects of their culture, they maintain their traditions and cultural values. Day 10: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast. In the morning, we ventured back into the park and spent the day on another safari in open 4x4 vehicles. The park offers a unique experience for nature lovers. It's not possible to see all of Africa's "Big Five" in Etosha National Park, as the African buffalo does not inhabit this region. However, the park offers the opportunity to observe four of these iconic animals: the lion, the African elephant, the black rhinoceros, and the leopard. Lions and elephants are relatively easy to spot, especially during the dry season when they congregate at waterholes. The black rhinoceros, an endangered species, is also visible in Etosha, making the park one of the best places to see it in the wild. The leopard, although more elusive, is also part of the park's wildlife. Despite the absence of the buffalo, Etosha remains an exceptional safari destination, with a great diversity of wildlife and unique landscapes that offer an unforgettable experience. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 11: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK - OTJIWARONGO

After breakfast, we depart south to Otjiwarongo, a small town located approximately 280 km north of the capital. Otjiwarongo is one of Namibia's cities with the largest German-speaking population. A stop can be made here. We then continue to the lodge where we will spend the night, located 40 km from the town. In the afternoon, a two-hour game drive, organized by the lodge, will take place, with the aim of seeing most of the animals that inhabit Otjiwa, from the small springbok to the larger white rhinoceros. During the game drive, we will pass by some of the reserve's 22 reservoirs, each with its own unique beauty and natural bird habitats.
