Tortuguero

It is a town located in the province of Limón on the Costa Rican Caribbean coast. In one part of the Tortuguero National Park, there is a sandbank covered by rainforest on whose beaches green turtles often nest. Sea Turtle Conservancy is an organization that has a research station and a visitor center with turtle-related exhibits.
