Amman

The capital of Jordan, it is both a Roman city, with its theatres, forums, temples and avenues, as well as a Muslim one, with colorful and varied mosques and the Alcázar, as well as a Christian one, with its beautiful Byzantine churches. Nowadays, it is a cosmopolitan city that mixes antiquity and modernity in a perfect balance. Modernity is part of everyday life in the capital. Shopping centers and modern buildings such as the Jordan Gate Twin Towers (two of the tallest buildings in Amman, with 186 meters high) next to hotels, art galleries, boutiques, and even the airport (Queen Alia International Airport), are the other side of Amman.
