Dubai

It is the second largest emirate in the UAE and perhaps the most famous. Thanks to the talent of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, it gained a reputation as one of the most important and dynamic cities in the Middle East. With a desert strewn with skyscrapers, artificial islands, mega stores, ever-larger shopping complexes and super-luxury hotels, this city embodies the idea of "Asian luxury." Oil turned a desert populated by Bedouins into one of the most dynamic countries in the world. Its stated goal is to become the Arab Hong Kong, with the lights of Las Vegas. Dubai offers tourists many entertainment options, from skiing in the dunes, fine sandy beaches and a warm sea all year round to interesting museums, mosques, fortresses, and of course, the only hotel in the world built underwater, the tower largest in the world, the largest private residence in the world, the largest amusement park in the world...

Dubai is a popular destination for relaxing holidays on beautiful white beaches with crystal clear waters and adventurous safaris through the desert, with impressive first-class international hotels and excellent and varied gastronomic options. Dubai really has everything you could want.

We also find natural wonders in its surroundings such as the Hatta Pools located in the Hajar Mountains or the Wadi Hatta Valley and its ancient fortress just 90 minutes from Dubai.

The climate is hot throughout the year and rain is practically non-existent. The best time to go sightseeing in Dubai is the winter months (November to March) since the average temperature is usually around 30ºC with low humidity, while in the summer months the temperature exceeds 40ºC and the environment is more humid.

According to Donis, when he designed the structure, he saw Dubai as a city full of emblems and, instead of adding another, he proposed framing the city. Instead of building a massive structure, the purpose of the proposal was to build a 150 by 105 meter void to continually frame the development of Dubai's past, present and future, becoming the structure that celebrates and at the same time limits the city. With its construction started in 2013, the building was inaugurated in January 2018. The Dubai Frame is made of glass, steel, aluminum and reinforced concrete. It is positioned in such a way that landmarks representative of modern Dubai can be seen on one side, while from the other side, visitors can also see older parts of the city.Inside the Dubai Frame you can see two exhibitions, one dedicated to Dubai's past and another focused on the future, as well as incredible views from the upper platform.
