What to see in Perth?

Perth

Known as the most isolated city in the world and one of the sunniest in the world, it is surrounded by incredible beaches and is also a very welcoming city for all who visit it. Located in Western Australia, it is the capital of the state of Western Australia. A beautiful corner of the world where you can admire the best sunsets in all of Oceania. Far from the rest of the big cities in Australia and excessive tourism, Perth is a very quiet city that maintains the essence of its origins. Its leisure offer is very wide and includes options as varied as practicing kitesurfing or windsurfing on its beaches, walking along the banks of the Swan River or through one of the largest urban parks in the world, Kings Park.

Kings Park, Perth

It is the largest park in the world (even larger than Central Park), covering over 4 square kilometres. It is often the venue for various outdoor events. The park is a mix of parkland with lawns, botanical gardens and natural bushland on Mount Eliza. It offers panoramic views of the Swan River and Darling Range, is home to 324 varieties of native plants, 215 known species of indigenous fungi and 80 species of birds. In addition to all this, Kings Park contains the State War Memorial, the Royal Kings Park tennis club and a reservoir.

Swan River

It owes its name to the black swans that the explorer Willem de Vlamingh saw in 1967. In fact, these birds are among the most important in the city. You can visit it by cruise and the beauty of the landscape at sunset is one of the best reasons to visit Perth.

Cottesloe Beach

Perth's iconic Cottesloe Beach is as pretty as a picture. It's one of the city's most popular spots for swimming, snorkelling, surfing and watching the sunset over a glass of wine, a refreshing beer or a relaxed dinner. What makes it a favourite among Perth's 19 sensational white sand beaches are its many charms - lush Norfolk pines, gentle terraced lawns and pristine sands provide the perfect setting for a lazy afternoon or family day out. A lively boulevard of restaurants, cafes and bars is the ideal place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, a sunset drink or a lively Sunday session by the beach. Its crystal-clear waters and constant waves make it a popular hangout for swimmers, bodyboarders and surfers, while the rocks and reefs also invite snorkellers."Cott", as it is affectionately known, can be reached by car, bus or train from Perth.
