Cancelation conditions

*Cancellations received up to 21 days prior to the start date of the services, without penalty.

*Cancellations received between 7 and 4 days prior to the start date of the services, will have a penalty of 60% of the total cost of the services.

*Cancellations received from 3 days prior to the start date of the services, will have a penalty of 100%.

IMPORTANT

-Guaranteed departures for 2 or more passengers.

-The deadline for reservation requests for this tour or extra services will be 21 days prior to arrival in Japan. After this deadline, any changes or added services will incur an emergency handling fee. Requests for changes or new services cannot be guaranteed after the reservation deadline.

-Customers who choose to enjoy an “ONSEN” (hot springs), please note that for cultural reasons, access to the hot springs is not permitted to customers with tattoos.

-People with reduced mobility: many places in Japan, hotels and transportation are not adapted for wheelchairs, please inquire and notify before making your reservation. Any additional costs for assistance required throughout the tour will be borne by the customer.

-Rooms: The double bed is not available. Since double beds are not common in Japan, most hotels do not have this type of room. We can request it from the hotels but we cannot guarantee it.

The single room may be smaller than the double room.

This program does not offer a triple room option for adults.

-Possible changes in accommodations: if for any of the departures it is not possible to confirm the planned hotels, an alternative will be offered to the client within the same contracted category.

-Special foods: cases of food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc.) must be communicated before arrival in Japan, although no type of special diet or menu can be guaranteed.

-Arrival transfer in Kyoto: transfers for flights arriving in Kyoto between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. will have an additional fee.

-Visits: for groups of 10 or more people, the tours are operated by taxi, Private car, minibus, or coach, with an English-speaking guide, as per the itinerary, including admission to the monuments specified in the itinerary. Tours with fewer than 10 people are operated by public transport.

-Guests will spend one night in Hakone without their luggage, so please prepare carry-on luggage (up to 10 kg) for that night. Luggage will be transported directly from Kyoto to your hotel in Tokyo.

-Free time: During free time, clients do not have access to transportation or a local guide.

-Possible route changes: Our representative in Japan has the right to modify the program for the client's benefit or due to force majeure without missing any of the scheduled visits.

-Luggage: In case of loss of luggage by the airlines, it will be the passenger's responsibility to manage the claim and call the company directly to process the delivery or compensation that may apply. Luxotour will not be responsible for any processing due to lost or broken luggage.

-Consumer withdrawal: the tour is sold as a closed package, so there will be no refund or discount for services that customers decide not to enjoy or in which they cannot participate due to personal, medical, flight schedules or other events.

-Behavior during the trip: in the event that the attitude of a passenger endangers the operation of the tour and/or causes inconvenience to the rest of the group, they will be forced to leave the tour without any type of discount or refund for the services they cannot enjoy.

-Credit card: generally, hotel establishments require the passenger to have a credit card or a cash deposit as a guarantee in order to provide telephone calls, extras in bars and restaurants, minibar, laundry, room service charges, etc.

-Personal documentation and Entry requirements for Japan: It is the client's responsibility to inform themselves about the current regulations regarding entry and exit to the country they are traveling to, as well as to carry the personal documents required by the authorities. Luxotour assumes no responsibility in this regard. Please note that visa, transit, entry, and vaccination regulations vary from country to country and are subject to change at short notice.

Children

The price of the child from 0 to 5.99 years does not include: cot, bed, breakfast, lunch and dinner, seats on the train and bus. In the event that the client wants these services, they would have to pay as a child from 6 to 11 years of age. From 12 years old they pay as an adult. Children always sharing a room with 2 adults.

Day 1:

Departure on a scheduled flight to Osaka. Night on board.

Day 2:

OSAKA - KYOTO

Arrive at Kansai (or Itami) International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Kyoto. Remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

KYOTO

Breakfast and departure for a panoramic tour of the ancient capital, Kyoto. During the tour, you will pass Sanjusangen-do Temple, Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion), Tenryuji Temple Garden, and the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Lunch at a local restaurant and return to the hotel. Free afternoon to continue enjoying this vibrant city. Overnight stay.

Breakfast. Free day to continue enjoying the city or take an optional excursion such as Nara and Fushimi Inari. Overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Kyoto Station for the "Hikari" bullet train to Himeji. Arrival and visit to Himeji Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the visit, depart by road to Kurashiki. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy a panoramic city tour to see the former residence of the Ohashi Family and the historic district of Bikan. Continue by road to Hiroshima. Arrival at the hotel and overnight stay.

Important Notes:

Your bags will be taken to your hotel in Hiroshima by courier service and will arrive the next day. Please prepare carry-on luggage for one night.
Admission to Himeji Castle cannot be reserved in advance, and long lines form to climb the tower. In cases where the trip is not possible, a visit to Osaka Castle will be included as compensation on day 8 of the trip.

HIROSHIMA - MIYAJIMA - HIROSHIMA

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a short sightseeing tour of Hiroshima, passing by the Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome. Afterward, depart for Miyajima Island, where you will visit the Itsukushima Shinto Shrine, famous for its torii gate in the sea. After the tour, return to your hotel in Hiroshima and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

HIROSHIMA - KOYASAN

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Hiroshima Station for the Nozomi Shinkansen (bullet train) to Shin-Osaka. Arrival and transfer by road to Koyasan. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the sacred mountain to see Kongobuji Temple, Danjo Garan, and the Okunoin Mausoleum. Afterwards, transfer to the shukubo (Buddhist temple). Vegetarian Buddhist dinner and overnight stay at the shukubo.

Important note: Your bags will be transferred directly to your hotel in Osaka. Please prepare carry-on luggage for two nights (in Koyasan and Kawayu Onsen).

Early morning, those who wish to participate in the temple's religious services are welcome.

A typical Japanese vegetarian breakfast will be served at the shukubo. Then, we will depart by road to the sacred site of Kumano. Arrival and lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will walk the ancient Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route. The hike will be approximately 3 km along a sloping mountain path and will last approximately one hour. Finally, we will visit the Kumano Hongu Taisha Shrine, the main site of the pilgrimage route, and the Oyunohara (the ancient site of Kumano Hongu Taisha). After the visit, transfer to Kawayu Onsen. Dinner and overnight stay at the ryokan.

Breakfast at the ryokan and departure by road to Osaka. Arrival and panoramic city tour to see the Floating Garden Observatory (in the Umeda Sky Building) and the Dotombori District. After the tour, transfer to the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

OSAKA - KANAZAWA

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Osaka Station for your departure by JR limited express train "Thunderbird" to Kanazawa. Arrival and panoramic city tour to see Kenroku-en Garden, Oumicho Market, Higashi Chayagai District, and Nagamachi District, where we will visit the former residence of the Nomura samurai family. After the visit, transfer to the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

Important note: Your bags will be taken directly to your hotel in Tokyo. Please prepare carry-on luggage for two nights (in Kanazawa and Takayama).

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for an excursion to Shirakawago. Visit this UNESCO World Heritage village to see one of the traditional "Gassho-zukuri" houses. We then continue our route by road to Takayama. Lunch at a local restaurant. Panoramic tour to see the Yatai Kaikan (Festival Float Exhibition Hall) and Kami-sannomachi Street. After the visit, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Important note: Your suitcase will be taken directly from Kyoto to your hotel in Tokyo, so you will need to prepare carry-on luggage for 2 nights (Takayama and Hakone).

TAKAYAMA – NAGOYA – HAKONE – TOKYO

Breakfast at the hotel and departure by road to Nagoya, from where we will continue by bullet train "Hikari" to Odawara. Box lunch on the train. Arrival at Odawara Station and transfer to Hakone to visit Fuji-Hakone National Park, accessible by ropeway, and to discover Lake Ashi aboard a mini cruise. After the visit, continue by road to Tokyo. Arrival at the hotel and overnight stay.

Important note:Depending on weather conditions, the mini-cruise on Lake Ashi and the ropeway ride to Fuji-Hakone National Park may be substituted for other visits such as museums and/or temples. Panoramic views of Mount Fuji will also depend on the weather. It is very difficult to see Mount Fuji at any time of the year and especially in summer because the sky is usually covered with clouds.

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a panoramic tour of the city, including Tokyo Tower and the Asakusa Kannon Temple with its Nakamise shopping arcade. Lunch at a local restaurant concludes the tour. Return transfer to the hotel is not included and will be at the client's expense. The remainder of the day is free. Overnight stay.
