LAND SERVICES:

  • Cancellations received up to 32 days prior to the start date of services will not incur a penalty.
  • Cancellations received between 31 and 23 days prior to the start date of services will incur a 20% penalty.
  • Cancellations received between 22 and 16 days prior to the start date of services will incur a 30% penalty.
  • Cancellations received between 15 and 10 days prior to the start date of services will incur a 50% penalty.
  • Cancellations Cancellations received within 9 days prior to the start date of services will incur a 100% penalty. Failure to appear on the start date of the trip will incur a 100% penalty.

The baggage allowance for ground transportation (bus/train) is one piece of hand luggage plus one suitcase per person. If you are traveling with more luggage, there may not be enough space on the transport vehicle, and you may have to leave some of your belongings behind.

-Guaranteed departures from 2 passengers, according to the published departure schedule for this program.

-People with reduced mobility: Many places, hotels, and transportation are not wheelchair accessible. Please check and notify us before booking. Any additional assistance costs required during the tour will be the responsibility of the client.

-Rooms: Single rooms may be smaller than double rooms. Triple rooms cannot be guaranteed until confirmation is received from each hotel. These rooms are generally double rooms with 2 single beds or 1 double bed + 1 small folding bed.

-Possible changes to accommodations: If it is not possible to confirm the planned hotels for any of the departures, an alternative will be offered to the client within the same contracted category.

-Special diets: Cases of food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc.) must be communicated before arrival in South Korea, although it is not possible to guarantee any type of special diet or menu.

-Free time: During free time, clients do not have transportation or a local guide.

-Possible route changes: Our representative in South Korea has the full right to readjust the order and schedule of visits, hotels, restaurants, and means of transport once the trip has begun and for the benefit of the client, or cancel the program due to force majeure, without prior notice and without this implying any type of refund.

-Baggage: In case of loss of baggage by the airlines, it will be the passenger's responsibility to manage the claim and call the company directly to process the delivery or compensation that may apply. Luxotour will not be responsible for any claims related to lost or damaged luggage.

-Consumer Withdrawal: The program is sold as a closed package, therefore there will be no refund or discount for services that clients choose not to use or in which they cannot participate due to personal or medical reasons, flight schedules, or other events.

-Conduct During the Trip: If a passenger's behavior jeopardizes the operation of the tour and/or causes disturbance to the rest of the group or at the hotels, they will be forced to leave the tour without any discount or refund for services they cannot use.

-Credit Card: Generally, hotels require passengers to provide a credit card or a cash deposit as a guarantee to provide services such as telephone calls, extras in bars and restaurants, minibar, laundry, room service charges, etc.

-Personal Documentation and entry requirements for South Korea: It is the client's responsibility to inform themselves about the current entry and exit regulations of the country they are traveling to, as well as to carry the personal documents required by the authorities. Luxotour assumes no responsibility in this regard. Please note that visa, transit, entry, and vaccination regulations vary from country to country and may be subject to change at short notice.

Travelers are advised to bring their own refillable/reusable water container to minimize the use of plastic bottles and water waste, as drinking water refill stations are becoming increasingly common throughout the country.

Day 1: CITY OF ORIGIN - SEOUL

Day 2: SEOUL

Arrival at Gimpo International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Seoul. Free afternoon. Overnight stay. Welcome to Korea!

Day 3: SEOUL

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to discover the most modern and vibrant area of Seoul, starting with a visit to the Lotte World Tower and its Seoul Sky Observatory. From there, at 555 meters high and 123 floors, we'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Han River and the city skyline, taking one of the fastest elevators in the world. We'll continue to the COEX Mall in the heart of the Gangnam district, where the traditional, the modern, and the technological merge. We'll admire the iconic "Gangnam Style" sculpture and visit the spectacular Starfield Library, famous for its enormous bookshelves and cinematic aesthetic. Free time for lunch (not included) within the COEX Mall, with a wide variety of options ranging from Korean food to ramen, bibimbap, coffee, and desserts. In the afternoon, we'll experience traveling on Seoul's efficient subway, learning how to use the T-money card and taking Line 2 from Samsung Station to Gangnam Station, a journey of about 5 minutes. Arrival at Gangnam Square, where we strolled amidst fashion, technology, and the vibrant atmosphere of an area brimming with luxury, rhythm, and youth—the perfect way to end the day. Return to the hotel on your own. Overnight stay.

Day 4: SEOUL

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Seoul's most traditional area to delve into centuries of history, beginning with Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest palace in Korea, built in 1395 by the Joseon Dynasty. There, we witness the solemn changing of the guard ceremony, complete with traditional costumes, drums, and soldiers, evoking scenes from ancient Korean kingdoms. We then continue to Gwanghwamun Square, a wide pedestrian avenue in front of the palace, adorned with fountains and iconic monuments such as the statue of King Sejong, creator of the Korean alphabet, and Admiral Yi Sun-sin. We continue our tour of the exterior of Seoul City Hall, a contemporary wave-shaped building whose architecture is inspired by the eaves of traditional Korean houses, and the nearby Deoksugung Palace, a unique palace that combines Korean and Western architectural styles, creating a striking contrast. Finally, we arrive in Myeongdong, the city's most vibrant shopping district, full of lights, shops, and street food stalls, where we conclude the tour with free time. The guide then explains how to return to the hotel by subway. Overnight stay.

Day 5: SEOUL – BUSAN

Early breakfast at the hotel and departure by bullet train to Busan. Arrival and lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit the famous Jagalchi Market, Korea's most iconic fish and seafood market, where stalls display live seafood, moving octopuses, and a wide variety of other seafood. Continue to BIFF Square, the heart of the Busan International Film Festival, with its Walk of Fame, actors' handprints and footprints, and a vibrant atmosphere filled with shops, street food, and giant screens. We then proceed to the lively Nampodong Street, one of Busan's most popular areas, brimming with fashion, cosmetics, cafes, and street vendors—ideal for exploring and buying souvenirs. We conclude at the colorful Gamcheon Cultural Village, known as the "Santorini of Korea," an artistic neighborhood with colorful houses, murals, and creative alleyways where we will stroll leisurely to enjoy its unique sights and hidden corners. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 6: BUSAN

Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to the outskirts of the city to start the day with a moment of tranquility by the sea. We will visit Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, a unique temple in Korea, built on rocky cliffs overlooking the sea. Among statues, staircases, and the sound of the waves, this place combines spirituality with unforgettable scenery. Then we will visit the Haeundae Blue Line Train, a colorful tourist train that travels along the Busan coast at a leisurely pace. Ideal for relaxing and enjoying the scenery as we head to the most famous beach in the country. After the tour, return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 7: BUSAN

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for an excursion to Gyeongju, known as the "museum without walls" for its immense historical wealth. The tour begins at Bulguksa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and considered one of the finest expressions of Silla-era Buddhism, with its pagodas and pavilions that convey a profound harmony. Continue to the elegant Woljeonggyo Bridge, a reconstructed wooden bridge over the Namcheon Stream, ideal for a leisurely stroll amidst traditional architecture. Next, visit Cheomseongdae Observatory, Asia's oldest astronomical observatory, built in the 7th century and now a symbol of the city. Afterward, explore the charming Hwangnidan-gil Street, where hanok houses coexist with modern cafes, designer shops, and ideal spaces for walking and relaxing. Free time for lunch (not included) in the area, which offers a variety of dining options. In the afternoon, visit the Daereungwon and Cheonmachong Tombs funerary complex, where relics from the Silla era are preserved. Return to Busan after a day filled with history, culture, and unique landscapes. Overnight stay.

Day 8: BUSAN - YEOSU

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for the southwest of the peninsula to discover Hadong and Yeosu. Enjoy the rural landscapes of rolling green hills and the characteristic fields of Hadong, a region with centuries of history and renowned as the birthplace of Korean green tea. Visit a tea plantation nestled in the mountains, where you'll stroll among the terraces and learn about the traditional tea-making process. Lunch at a local restaurant followed by a cultural tasting experience at a traditional tea house, where you'll discover how to prepare and savor Korean-style green tea in a relaxed atmosphere. In the afternoon, continue to the coastal city of Yeosu, famous for its sunsets and romantic atmosphere. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Ascend to the Yeosu viewpoint by cable car to admire the spectacular views of the bay, the sea, the nearby islands, and the sun setting over the horizon. End the day on Pocha Street, where you can continue exploring the area on your own. Return to the hotel independently. Overnight stay.

Day 9: YEOSU – JEONJU

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for an excursion to visit the historical sites related to Admiral Lee Sunshin, Korea's naval hero. We will stroll through his iconic square and visit the Jinnamgwan Pavilion, an architectural gem overlooking the sea. We continue to the colorful Mural Alley, filled with urban art. Here we will have a moment to enjoy a charming café in a vibrant setting. We will then proceed to the Yeosu Art Museum, an immersive museum that blends light, technology, and creativity to provide a completely unique artistic experience. A place that surprises from beginning to end. Lunch at one of the city's most famous restaurants. In the afternoon, we head to Yeosu Railway Station for our train to Jeonju. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 10: JEONJU – SEOUL

Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to downtown Jeonju, a city that enchants with its traditional architecture and cuisine. Visit to Jeonju Hanok Village, where we'll stroll through this beautiful village of Hanok houses, one of the best-preserved in Korea, where history and daily life intertwine in every alley. We'll participate in a Korean cooking class, a true culinary experience. We'll learn to prepare authentic bibimbap, Jeonju's most iconic dish, and, of course, enjoy it for lunch. After lunch, visit Jeondong Cathedral, in the heart of the Hanok Village. This Western-style church adds a fascinating contrast to the traditional landscape. We conclude the excursion at Gyeonggijeon Shrine, known for housing the portrait of the founding king of the Joseon Dynasty. This shrine is one of the city's most important sites, surrounded by gardens and tranquility. Transfer to Seoul by bus. Arrival at the hotel and check-in. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Day 11: SEOUL

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for an excursion to Suwon, a UNESCO World Heritage city renowned for its impressive fortress. Visit the Statue of King Jeongjo, known as one of the most beloved monarchs of the Joseon Dynasty; his legacy lives on in this city. Stroll through Hwaseong Haenggung Palace, the former retirement palace of the royal family. Weather permitting, enjoy a traditional martial arts demonstration in the central courtyard. We will walk along the Hwaseong City Wall, which encircles the old city, and arrive at its imposing Yeonmudae-janganmun Gate. Traditional lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, free time at the impressive Starfield Suwon Library and shopping center, where you can have a coffee or do some shopping. Return to Seoul. Overnight stay.
