Coastal area of Gambia
It is said that it is the smiling coast of Africa. The holiday areas extend along the coast, from north to southeast. Each one with its own distinctive character.
Leaving from Banjul, the first tourist town we find is Bakau, a residential area with two beautiful beachside neighborhoods: Cape Point to the northeast and Fajara at the end. north of Kairaba Avenue. Continuing south along the Senegambia Highway, we find the lively areas of Kotu and Kololi, and very close by, Kerr Serign and Bijilo.
The sound of the waves attracts like a melody; In each of these areas there arises an irresistible desire to lie down in the tropical sun or take refuge under the palm trees, bathe in the hotel pool, eat in a restaurant by the sea or have a drink at sunset in a beach bar.
