Chaouen

Uta al-Hamman Square
Considered the nerve center of this city, it is the busiest and liveliest place, where the citadel and a mosque are located. You can also find many bars, tea shops and restaurants where you can have a drink while watching life go by.
Chaouen Mosque
Built in the 15th century, the minaret has a characteristic octagonal shape.
Chaouen citadel
It was built in the 17th century. It is a solid-walled fortress with a tower and landscaped courtyards. Today it houses the ethnographic museum.
Ras el maa
It is a spring that gushes from the mountain in the form of a waterfall of cold and crystalline water. In this place, it is common to see women doing the laundry.
