Musanze

Ruhengeri, the capital of Musanze District, located in the heart of Rwanda, is a vibrant city surrounded by stunning scenery and a rich cultural heritage. The city is now referred to as Musanze, after the district in which it is located. This is due to the policy of renaming cities in Rwanda, which was done to erase memories of the past and install new administrations in the country.
