It is a small village located in the Kédougou region, in the southeast of Senegal, inhabited mainly by the Fulani ethnic group. Apart from its colorful market, it is a good starting point to climb the Falaise and visit the village of Dande, among curious rock formations.
It is home to one of Senegal's tourist attractions, the Dindéfelo Community Nature Reserve, where humans and chimpanzees coexist, and where the Dindéfelo Waterfall is located, a 115-meter-high waterfall, the steepest in Senegal and which can be reached by following a path next to the stream in south direction.
