Queen Elizabeth National Park is a protected area that is the most visited game reserve in the African country of Uganda. The national park is located in western Uganda, covering the districts of Kasese, Kamwenge, Bushenyi and Rukungiri. This territory is very heterogeneous, since it has many different ecosystems, some of these are savannahs, lakes, tropical forests and wetlands, this great variety of ecosystems makes it have a high biodiversity. More specifically, this national park has almost 100 species of mammals and more than 600 species of birds, some animals that you can find are elephants, hippos, pelicans, lions... this last species is famous in this area because the lions in this national park climb to the tops of the trees that they find in their path.
