BUENOS AIRES

Arrival in Buenos Aires and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.

BUENOS AIRES

Breakfast. Departure for a half-day panoramic tour of the city passing by the Obelisk, Plaza San Martín de los Andes, Corrientes, De Mayo and 9 de Julio Avenues, among others. You will also pass through historic neighborhoods such as La Boca and San Telmo, sumptuous neighborhoods such as Palermo and Recoleta, and modern neighborhoods such as Puerto Madero. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.

BUENOS AIRES – EL CALAFATE

Breakfast. Transfer to Buenos Aires airport to take flight to El Calafate (*). Arrival at El Calafate airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.

Day 5:

EL CALAFATE – PERITO MORENO GLACIER – EL CALAFATE

Breakfast. Departure to the Glacier National Park to visit the Perito Moreno Glacier. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and located 80 km from El Calafate, it is one of the most spectacular and famous glaciers in the world for being one of the few that continue to advance today, without a doubt one of the most incredible spectacles in the world. nature that surprises with its impressive landslides. On its several-kilometer-long front we will observe constant calving of enormous blocks of ice onto the waters of Lake Argentino. Quite a spectacle that can be seen from strategically located catwalks. In the afternoon, I return to the hotel. Accommodation.

EL CALAFATE

Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the area or hire an optional excursion to continue getting to know the glaciers of the National Park in depth.


Recommended optional activities: “Todo Glaciares” excursion through the northern arm of Lake Argentino or “Gourmet Glaciers Experience” on the María Turquesa cruise ship sailing to the Upsala and Spegazzini glaciers.

EL CALAFATE - IGUAZÚ

Breakfast. Transfer to El Calafate airport to take flight to Iguazú (*). Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.

Day 8:

IGUAZÚ - IGUAZÚ FALLS (Argentine side) - IGUAZÚ

Breakfast. Depart on an excursion to visit the Iguazú Falls on the Argentine side. Located within the Iguazú National Park, with an area of 67,000 hectares; one of the first protected areas in America. The Falls are made up of 275 waterfalls that fall from an average height of 70 meters. In this piece of Sub-Tropical Jungle it is possible to observe during our walk the great variety of ferns, orchids, begonias, birds and butterflies. I'll go back to the hotel, then I have the rest of the day free. Accommodation.
