Tayrona Park Area

The Tayrona National Natural Park covers more than 15,000 hectares, combining terrestrial and marine ecosystems of great natural richness. This protected area includes rainforests, mangroves, coral reefs, and idyllic beaches. It is home to a great diversity of flora and fauna, many of them endemic. Furthermore, sacred sites of indigenous communities such as the Kogi, Arhuaco, and Wiwa are preserved within its boundaries. Its size and variety of landscapes make it one of the most important and comprehensive parks in the country.
