-Possible route change: Our representative in Colombia has the full right to modify the program for the client's benefit or due to force majeure.

-Possible changes in accommodations: If it is not possible to confirm the planned hotels for any of the departures, an alternative will be offered to the client within the same contracted category.

-Breakfasts included in the hotels have assigned times according to the policies of each hotel establishment, generally between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Outside of the hours established by each hotel, the passenger will forfeit this service. Room service and breakfast bag services are available at an additional cost. Early arrival at the hotel on the first day of your trip does not guarantee room availability. Standard check-in times apply unless additional nights are purchased to ensure immediate access to your room. Rooms are generally available from 3:00 PM. Triple rooms: Please note that in most hotels, triple rooms do not have three beds, but rather two. A third bed is rarely available, and it will usually be slightly smaller than the existing beds, typically a rollaway bed. Luggage: In the event of lost luggage by the airline, it is the passenger's responsibility to file a claim and contact the airline directly to arrange for its return or any applicable compensation. Luxotour will not be responsible for any procedures related to lost or damaged luggage.

-People with reduced mobility: some places, hotels and transport are not wheelchair accessible, please check and notify us before making your reservation. Any additional expenses for assistance required throughout the tour will be the responsibility of the client.

-Special Diets: Cases of food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc.) must be communicated before arrival in Colombia, although it is not possible to guarantee any type of special diet or menu.

-Tourist sites in Colombia (such as churches and convents) may be closed to the public throughout the year without prior notice.

-Consumer Withdrawal: The program is sold as a fixed package, therefore there will be no refund or discount for services that clients decide not to use or in which they cannot participate due to personal or medical reasons, flight schedules, or other events.

-Conduct During the Trip: In the event that a passenger's behavior jeopardizes the operation of the tour and/or causes discomfort to the rest of the group or at the hotels, they will be obliged to Canceling the trip without any discount or refund for services not enjoyed.

-Credit Card: Hotels generally require a credit card or cash deposit as a guarantee to cover services such as phone calls, extras in bars and restaurants, minibar, laundry, room service charges, etc.

-The price of this program is based on special rates for foreign tourists. Hotels will require clients to present their passport with the entry stamp for the country as a tourist. If the passport does not have the corresponding stamp, hotels will apply 19% VAT to the total stay, payable by the client directly to each establishment.

-Personal Documentation and Entry Requirements in Colombia: It is the client's responsibility to be informed about the current entry and exit regulations for the country they are traveling to, as well as to carry the personal documents required by the authorities. Luxotour assumes no responsibility in this regard. Please note that visa, transit, entry, and health requirements vary from country to country and may be subject to change at short notice.

Flight from your hometown to El Dorado International Airport - Bogota.

Arrival at Bogotá International Airport and transfer to the hotel in a private vehicle accompanied by a Spanish-speaking guide. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 2: BOGOTA - ZIPAQUIRÁ - BOGOTA

Breakfast and departure for an excursion to Zipaquirá, where we will visit the Salt Cathedral, an impressive underground structure that combines history, architecture, and spirituality. Continue to the Nemocón Salt Mine, where a bilingual guide will lead a tour explaining the history and operation of the mine. Free time for lunch (not included). Afterward, return to Bogotá. Arrival and rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 3: BOGOTA

Breakfast and departure for a tour of Bogotá's historic center. During the tour, we will visit the Gold Museum and walk along Carrera Séptima to Plaza de Bolívar. We will continue exploring the charming La Candelaria neighborhood, with stops in front of the Botero Museum and the Chorro de Quevedo, the original site of the city. We will conclude the experience with a ride on the cable car or funicular to Monserrate Hill, home to its iconic sanctuary and offering beautiful panoramic views of the city. Return to the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 4: BOGOTA - MEDELLIN

Breakfast. Transfer to Bogotá airport. Arrival at Medellín airport, where you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. During your transfer, the guide will provide useful information for your stay in the city. Afterwards, depart for a panoramic city tour, visiting some of its most emblematic sites by car, metro, and Metrocable, including Comuna 13, known for its escalators and colorful graffiti, reflecting the city's transformation in recent years. Return to the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 5: MEDELLIN - GUATAPÉ - MEDELLIN

Breakfast and departure for an excursion to Guatapé, one of the most picturesque towns in the country, to visit the Piedra del Peñol, one of the most iconic destinations near Medellín, located approximately two hours from the city. During the tour, you will enjoy a spectacular countryside landscape that contrasts with the imposing 297-meter-high rock, situated in the middle of a reservoir that generates a large part of the country's electricity, where we will take a boat ride. Typical lunch and return to Medellín. Overnight stay.

Day 6: MEDELLIN - CARTAGENA DE INDIAS

Breakfast. Transfer to Medellín airport. Arrival at Cartagena de Indias airport, where you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Afterwards, depart for the Getsemaní neighborhood for an approximately one-hour guided walking tour, discovering one of the city's most iconic and vibrant areas. We will conclude the experience at a local bar, where a mixologist will lead a tasting of Colombian rums paired with chocolate, allowing you to learn more about the country's flavors and traditions. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 7: Cartagena de Indias - Isla del Sol - Cartagena de Indias

Breakfast and transfer to the Bodeguita pier for an excursion to the Rosario Islands, one of the most attractive and interesting tours offered by Cartagena de Indias. The speedboat trip begins by crossing the inner bay, passing by Tierra Bomba Island and its three villages (Caño de Oro, Punta Arenas, and Bocha Chica), where the historic forts of San Ángel, San Fernando, and San José are located. After approximately one hour of sailing on the open sea, arrival at Isla del Sol, where you will be welcomed with a drink or fruit to this paradisiacal setting. Afterward, visit the aquarium to see various marine species up close, such as dolphins, sharks, turtles, and a wide variety of fish in their natural habitat. Typical buffet lunch and return to Cartagena de Indias. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 8: Cartagena de Indias

Breakfast. Free morning. In the early afternoon, departure for a city tour. We will visit the San Felipe de Barajas Fort, built on San Lázaro Hill to defend the city from pirate attacks, and one of the most important military constructions in the Americas. We will walk around the fort and learn about its construction, the engineering feats involved, and explore the tunnels, underground galleries, and passageways. Afterward, we continue to the Old City to visit the San Pedro Claver Convent and Church, built in the mid-17th century and named after the apostle of slaves. Finally, we head to the artisan area known as Las Bóvedas, a collection of vaults built within the walled city. These vaults were used as an armory until the late 1700s and later as a prison until the 19th century. Today, it is a craft center where you can appreciate all kinds of local handicrafts. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.
