Supplement night transfers
Night transfers arriving in Washington and departing from New York will have an additional charge per person per trip. Consult on a case-by-case basis. Night transfers are considered to be those outside the following schedules:
- City of origin - Washington: arrivals until 9:30 p.m.
- New York - City of origin: departures after 7:30 a.m.
IMPORTANT NOTES
-Guaranteed departures from 2 passengers, according to the published departure schedule.
-The published prices for children are only valid for children under 12 years old sharing a room with two adults. From 12 years old they pay as adults.
-Free time: During free time, clients do not have access to transportation or a local guide.
-Possible route changes: Our representative in the United States has the full right to modify the program for the benefit of the client or due to force majeure without losing any of the scheduled visits.
-Possible changes in accommodations: If for any of the departures it is not possible to confirm the planned hotels, the client will be offered an alternative within the same contracted category.
-The breakfasts included in the hotels have assigned schedules according to the policies of each hotel establishment, being generally between 06:30 hrs and 09:30 hrs. Outside of the schedule established by each hotel, the passenger will lose this service. Room service or breakfast bags have an additional cost (direct payment at destination).
-Early arrival at the hotel on the first day of travel does not guarantee that rooms will be available. Standard check-in times apply, unless additional nights are purchased to guarantee immediate access to the rooms. Rooms are generally available after 3:00 p.m.
-Triple and quadruple rooms generally only have 2 beds.
-Luggage: In case of loss of luggage by the airlines, it will be the passenger's responsibility to manage the claim and call the company directly to process the delivery or compensation that may apply. Luxotour will not be responsible for any processing due to lost or broken luggage.
-People with reduced mobility: some places, hotels and transport are not adapted for wheelchairs, please check and notify us before making your reservation. Any additional assistance expenses required throughout the tour will be borne by the client.
-Special Foods: Cases of food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc.) must be communicated before arrival in the United States, although no type of special diet or menu can be guaranteed.
-Consumer Withdrawal: The tour is sold as a closed package, so there will be no refund or discount for services that clients decide not to enjoy or in which they cannot participate due to personal, medical reasons, flight schedules, or other events.
-Behavior during the trip: In the event that a passenger's attitude endangers the operation of the tour and/or causes inconvenience to the rest of the group, they will be forced to leave the tour without any type of discount or refund for the services they cannot enjoy.
-Credit Card: Generally, hotels require a credit card or cash deposit from the passenger as a guarantee to provide telephone calls, extras in bars and restaurants, minibar, laundry, room service charges, etc.
-Personal documentation and entry requirements for the United States: It is the client's responsibility to inform themselves of the current regulations regarding entry and exit to the country to which they are traveling, as well as to carry the personal documents required by the authorities. Luxotour assumes no responsibility in this regard. Please note that visa, transit, and entry regulations vary from one country to another and, in turn, may change at short notice and without prior notice.

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a panoramic tour of approximately four hours, which will take us to Arlington Cemetery, where the graves of the Kennedy brothers are located; the Lincoln Memorial, IWO Jima; the Korean War Memorial and World War II, the White House (exterior only); Pennsylvania Avenue and the Capitol. Free afternoon to visit the Smithsonian Institution museums. Return to the hotel is at the client's expense. Accommodation.

Day 3: WASHINGTON - LANCASTER - PHILADELPHIA - NEW YORK
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we depart for New York. Traveling to Pennsylvania, we will pass through Lancaster and the Amish Center, where we will make a brief visit. We will also make a brief stop at Amish Village. We then continue to Philadelphia, the city where thirteen colonies declared their independence from England. Upon arrival, we will take a brief tour that includes Elfreth's Drive, the Old Victorian Quarter, Benjamin Franklin Boulevard, with a stop in front of the Museum of Art, and the Liberty Bell. We will arrive in New York in the afternoon. Overnight stay.

Day 4: NEW YORK
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, depart for a panoramic tour of the city, beginning in the direction of Upper Manhattan. Along Central Park, you'll pass by Lincoln Center, the Dakota Building, and Strawberry Fields. After a brief stop in Central Park to see the Imagine plaque honoring John Lennon, you'll continue toward Harlem. After this tour of the northern part of Harlem, the route takes you along Fifth Avenue, passing the most famous museums: the Metropolitan, the Frick, and the Guggenheim. You'll also pass St. Patrick's Cathedral and the famous Rockefeller Center. You'll make a brief stop in Madison Square for a view of the famous Flatiron Building and Empire State Building. You'll continue toward Lower Manhattan, passing through Greenwich Village, Ground Zero, the 9/11 Memorial, the Calatrava subway station, and Battery Park, with a view of the Statue of Liberty from afar. Before returning to downtown Manhattan, admission to the EDGE observation deck with free time is included, and return to the hotel is at your own expense. In the evening, we'll continue our visit to this great metropolis with another panoramic night tour, during which you can enjoy the illuminations of the city that never sleeps. Contrasts of New York
The Contrasts of New York tour, also known as the New York neighborhoods tour, is the most comprehensive and famous tour in New York. With an approximate duration of 5 hours, this guided tour in Spanish will allow you to get to know the most emblematic neighborhoods of the Big Apple: the Bronx, Queens, Harlem and Brooklyn. Immerse yourself in the fascinating cultural contrast of the city that never sleeps with the help of an expert guide. Our guide will share with you valuable historical and cultural information at each place we visit, adding an extra dimension to your experience.
We will begin the Contrasts tour in New York City at 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. (depending on the location of your hotel and the designated stop). Our first destination will be the Boulevard East Observation Deck, located in Alexander Hamilton Park in New Jersey. This is a unique aspect that sets our tour apart from other Contrasts tours available, as we offer the chance to cross the Hudson River and explore the contrasts of the Big Apple from New Jersey. From this viewing deck, you'll be able to enjoy a privileged view of Manhattan. You'll watch the imposing skyscrapers and skyline unfold before your eyes, creating an unforgettable visual spectacle. This stop is the perfect place to take stunning photos and take in the beauty of Manhattan from a panoramic perspective. We'll continue our tour along the Hudson River, passing through the charming towns of Edgewater and Fort Lee. These towns, bathed by the calm waters of the river, provide a picturesque atmosphere and a pleasant experience during the journey. Our next point of interest will be the Fort Lee Historic Park, where you can delight in the view of the George Washington Bridge (which connects Manhattan to the Bronx) and the Hudson River. These initial stops on the tour will not only provide you with spectacular views, but will also allow you to capture unique moments and familiarize yourself with some of the city's most notable architectural and natural landmarks.
After a well-deserved break to take photos and contemplate the city, we will cross the George Washington Bridge and enter the famous Bronx neighborhood. Our first stop in this vibrant place will be at the legendary Yankee Baseball Stadium. As we explore the Bronx, we'll head to Fort Apache, best known as the police station where the movie Apache District starring Paul Newman was filmed. We'll continue our tour to the South Bronx, where you can see the abundant graffiti and memorials dedicated to gang members who died in street fights. Don't miss the opportunity to photograph the famous graffiti by the famous Puerto Rican rapper Big Pun. And of course, a visit to the Bronx wouldn't be complete without immortalizing the famous Joker Staircase, a must-see attraction for movie lovers.
Our next destination will be Queens, an ethnically diverse enclave in the United States. We'll explore the charming residential neighborhoods of Whitestone and Malta. These neighborhoods are made up of Hispanic, Asian, Greek, Polish and Caribbean communities, and more recently have attracted young professionals from Manhattan. You will discover the curiosities of daily life in Queens and we will visit the Mets Stadium. We will make a stop at the Flushing Meadows Park and the Arthur Ashe National Tennis Stadium, where the US Open Tennis is held.
Continuing with the cultural contrast of this excursion, we will enter the vibrant Jewish neighborhood of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. This place is recognized as the epicenter of the Orthodox Jewish community in New York and is considered the second largest Orthodox Jewish community in the world. You will experience a remarkable change in culture, language, religion, customs and lifestyle as you immerse yourself in this fascinating area of Brooklyn.
To conclude the tour, we will head to the picturesque neighborhood of DUMBO in Brooklyn, where you can photograph the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. This is where our excursion of contrasts comes to an end. If you wish, you can take the bus back to Hudson Yards or tell your guide that you prefer to stay on your own to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge or enjoy the area's culinary offerings.
