Antalya
Antalya is a Turkish seaside resort with an old port full of yachts and beaches lined with large hotels. It is an access route to the Mediterranean region of southern Turkey, known as the Turquoise Coast due to the color of its waters. In the city, there are still remains from the time when Antalya was an important Roman port. Among them is Hadrian's Gate, built in honor of the visit of the Roman emperor in the year 130, and the 2nd century Hidirlik tower, overlooking the port.
Located on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean , the city is surrounded by mountains, some of which sink directly into the sea, forming small bays and natural peninsulas.
It is a city in continuous growth and tourists from all over the world are discovering its fabulous combination of magnificent beaches and traditional Turkish culture. The city still retains its importance as a center throughout history on the country's southern coast, in addition to its wonderful natural beauties. The mythological city that housed the gods and goddesses now exhibits all its secrets and wonder to humanity.
The region of Antalya, which offers all the mysticism of the past in our days, is now called the " Turkish Riviera" due to its archaeological and natural beauties. Antalya is the place where the sea, the sun, history and nature constitute a perfect harmony and also include the most beautiful and clear coast in the Mediterranean.
