Mai Chau

Vietnam offers a unique contrast of landscapes and the small town of Mai Chau is the perfect example. Home to numerous minority tribes or ethnic groups such as the Mong, Dzao, Kinh, Muong and the White Thai or Black Thai. All of them are originally from outside Vietnam except for the Kinh and the Muong. The way of life in the area is very rural and closely linked to the rice fields. Mai Chau shines in a special way, but it is mainly the poetic beauty of its mountains and its unique cuisine that stands out.
