-In relation to the accommodations, it must be taken into account that the categories in Egypt does not correspond to the categories in Europe, the standards in Egypt are lower. The categories of the hotels offered in this program are the official ones in Egypt, which does not mean that they correspond to the official categories in Europe. As for the motor ships, they do not have an official category.


-Possible changes in the accommodations: if in any of the departures it is not possible to confirm the hotels or ships provided, an alternative will be offered to the client within the same contracted category.

-Baggage: In case of loss of luggage by the airlines, it will be the responsibility of the passenger manage the claim and call the company directly to process the delivery or compensation that may apply. Luxotour will not be responsible for any processing due to loss or breakage of suitcases.

-People with reduced mobility: many places in Egypt, hotels and transport are not adapted for wheelchairs , please consult and notify it before making the reservation. Any additional cost of assistance that they require throughout the tour will be borne by the client.

-Special foods: cases of food intolerances (allergies, celiac disease, vegetarian food, etc. .) must be communicated before arrival in Egypt, although it is not possible to guarantee any type of diet or special menu.

-Consumer withdrawal: the circuit is sold as a closed package , so there will be no refund or discount for the services that customers decide not to enjoy or in which they cannot participate for personal or medical reasons, flight schedules or other events.

-In the event that If a passenger's attitude jeopardizes the operation of the tour and/or causes inconvenience to the rest of the group, the passenger will be forced to leave the tour without any type of discount or refund for the services that they cannot enjoy.

-Credit card: in general, hotels and boats require the passenger a credit card or a cash deposit as a guarantee in order to facilitate the services of telephone calls, extras in bars and restaurants , minibar, laundry, room service charges, etc.

Day 1: BARCELONA – LUXOR

Departure by charter flight to Luxor. Arrival, visa procedures and transfer to the river boat. Cold dinner and night on board.

What will you see today?

Day 2: LUXOR–ESNA–EDFU

Full board on board. Departure for the Colossi of Memnon, brief stop, and continuation to the Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of the most important pharaohs of the New Kingdom are hidden. We will travel to the Deir el-Bahari complex, home to the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut. We will continue with a visit to the east bank of Luxor, including the Temple of Karnak, which dominates the Theban landscape, born from the splendor of the New Kingdom pharaohs, and the Temple of Luxor, the work of two great pharaohs, Ramses II and Ramses III. Return to the cruise ship and embarkation for the voyage to Edfu. Overnight on board.

Day 3: EDFU – KOM OMBO – ASWAN

Full board on board. Disembarkation and transfer by horse-drawn carriage to visit the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon god Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Return to the ship and continue sailing towards Kom Ombo. Arrival and visit to its temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. After the visit, the voyage continues to Aswan. Overnight on board.

Day 4: ASWAN

Full board on board. Before dawn, depart on a road excursion to Abu Simbel, a city located 280 km south of Aswan, home to the majestic temples of Pharaoh Ramses II and his wife, Queen Nefertari. These temples, dating back to 1240 BC, are remarkably well-preserved thanks to the famous rescue operation carried out during the construction of the Aswan High Dam. The visit to the site will last approximately 2 hours, with a total excursion duration of approximately 8-9 hours. Return to the ship. In the afternoon, disembark again to visit the Temple of Philae, located on an island. We will travel there by boat, enjoying the stunning scenery. Return to the ship. Overnight on board.

Day 5: ASWAN – CAIRO

Breakfast and lunch are served on board. Cabins are only available until 8:00 AM. In the morning, we will take a felucca (traditional fishing boat) ride on the Nile, admiring several volcanic islands of black granite. Afterwards, you will have free time until your transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, dinner will be served at a restaurant. Later, transfer to your hotel and overnight stay.

Day 6: CAIRO

Breakfast and departure for a visit to the Giza complex, including the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, and the Sphinx (entrance fees to the interior of the pyramids not included). Lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, visit the new museum (GEM). Dinner at a local restaurant and return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 7: CAIRO

Breakfast and early morning departure to explore the most emblematic sites of Cairo: the Citadel of Saladin, the Alabaster Mosque, the Coptic Quarter, the Museum of Egyptian Civilization, and the Khan el-Khalili souk, where we will take an open-air stroll. Lunch at a restaurant. To conclude your stay in Cairo, tonight you will enjoy a Cairo Night, an evening tour of the city exploring Fatimid Cairo, including the historic Al-Muizz Street, also known as El Moez Street (the tour will last approximately 2 hours). Dinner at a local restaurant and return to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 8: CAIRO – SPAIN

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and departure on your charter flight back to the city of origin. Arrival, end of the trip and of our services.
