Banff

It is a tourist town founded in 1885, located in the province of Alberta, within the Banff National Park, it is its main commercial center, as well as a center of cultural activities where several cultural institutions and art galleries are based. On Banff Avenue, its main drag, fashion shops and restaurants mix with chateau-style hotels and souvenir shops. The 6,500 square kilometers of green areas that surround it are home to wildlife with moose and brown bears. It has several attractions including Upper Hot Springs, a 27-hole golf course at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and 3 ski resorts. The summits of Mount Rundle and Cascade are part of the Rocky Mountains and dominate the landscape.
