What to see in Andahuaylillas?
Church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas
Also called the “Sistine Chapel of America”, it is an austere construction on the outside, but impressive on the inside, with an explosion of gold, carvings and paintings. These paintings are the most striking thing in the church, the most famous being the pair found on the inside of the entrance wall that show the 2 paths of existence: to the left, the easy path, which leads to hell; To the right, the difficult one, which leads to paradise. Most of these beautiful murals were made by Riaño.
