Twin Peaks is named after the two nearly identical hills. At about 920 feet (280 meters), they are the second highest peak in San Francisco. Twin Peaks offers the best views of San Francisco; there's no better place to get a complete panoramic view of the city. It's a secluded residential neighborhood where modern houses line winding streets on steep terrain. There's a popular, leafy park located on one of the hills, with trails leading to the summit.
